Collectors excel both in range AND close combat. Scion - highest damage in the game(!), Praetorian, trooper and captain are deadly in a firefight(troopers bypass shieldgate with automatic weapon). Praetorian is actually the most dangerous melee unit in the game - instant stunlock and synckill. Even scion can instakill. Troopers also have a dangerous melee.
- Scion has the same amount of armour as banshee has - 16875, it has MORE when possessed. While it can shoot harder than anything, throw clusters and instakill.
- Praetorian when possessed have more armour and barriers than ATLAS - 34920 + 15750.
- Trooper and captain have highest health for infantry in the game on par with cannibal and marauder. They have higher DPS too. Health - 2025, they have more when possessed.
- Seeker swarms completely shut down caster classes and vanguards while having more health than Cerberus and Geth troopers. Facepalm.
- Abominations have too much health - 2520, especially when possessed and they can wipe whole team.
Dug-in defense is not an option against them with possessed scion's grenades and praetorian's pace. Troopers also can use grenades.
Also Collectors punish power and melee classes. Seeker swarms can ruin game for adepts, engineers and especially vanguards. Then try playing krogan sentinel or warlord against them, usually ends with praetorian instakill.
So my suggestions.
1) Nerf scion's damage, now it is ridiculous 2800 with a huge shield regen delay, guaranteed overkill for almost all classes. Make delay between throwing clusters and shooting bigger, so you can at least change your position.
2) Slow down praetorians and fix their lasers that shoot through soft cover(this will require a patch, so unlikely but still).
3) Nerf seeker swarms to the ground. Make power shutdown last less time and lower their health.
4) Lower health of abominations.
