...or at the very least, know why you’re getting kicked.
I have had good and bad PuG experiences, this is something we
agree with my friends and everyone can relate.
So, I decided to start this post so we can share our opinion on how we
can help improve the PuG experience.
I have in mind some advice or etiquette pointers that less
experienced players and even more experienced could find useful for gold and platinum.
- Communication is key, always use a MIC. You'd be surprised how many players will share they're experience or help you out if you help yourself first by asking. 80% of PUG's dont have Mics (Even on Gold). I do, but usually am silent unless someone else is interesting.
- NEVER HOLD THE EXTRACTION AREA on wave 11. Extraction area is a kill zone.
- Don't run off on your own, you put yourself and your team at risk. Stick close to at least one teammate. I prefer, "run off on your own and you are on your own" mentality. If you can do it and survive, have at it.
- Don't be cheap with consumables, that's what they are for. Then again don't use them up on the first waves.
- Don't revive a fallen teammate while enemies are on top of him/her. Either draw the away and someone else picks him/her up or kill them and then revive. There's no hurry. When I run in for a revive, if I can only get them through a mass of enemies, they are getting revived in a mass of enemies. Those who die can't be choosy.
- Always use consumables on Objetive Waves if necessary, not helping with objectives is a Kickable offense.
- Language. Don't worry if your english is "not to good", if you can say "Banshee Behind You", we're good.
I know I'm forgetting some other good points, If you guys have some on mind or disagree with some of mine share them with us.
Note. This is a Team Play game. A good player can handle his own and carry a game. A great player has his teammates back.
