True, because you're going to lose horribly.

In fact your choice of a Fury to face off against the Paladin is reason number 3,647 why you either a) are trolling or have no clue about this game. I'm still sticking with option A.

I mean of all the kits you could have used, you chose a Fury. lol.
 

Now I'm curious why you think a paladin will outperform a fury. Without the paladin having a teammate to detonate the fury has easier time getting explosions.

i said to stik, knowing that his favourite class is the fury, that i will outscore him with the paladin. i chose it, he didn't really have to agree, it was a formality.

as to your curiosity geek, why a paladin will outperform a fury? because I'M using it

The timing needs to be pretty instant. It is pretty quick from the time anihilation field primes to getting the throw off. If the paladin is so focused on sneaking the snap freeze in the split second window he will probably be to distracted to be effective.

It doesn't need to be in the middle, Throw will prioritize the tech prime whether it was applied before or after the biotic prime. At least that's my understanding of how it works, if I'm wrong then of course that changes things.

Also, I took the Paladin out today for the first time in a long time because of this thread, and I gotta say 'lacks punch' are not the words that come to mind to describe him.


He's as good as anything else against Reapers/Collectors, against Cerberus/Geth is where he really shines.

No one else on the team had overload btw. I think it was a Huntress, a Krolord, and a Juggernaut. The Huntress was mostly interested in shooting DC primed targets with a PPR, the Krolord wasn't good for much of anything (he gave it his all though), and Juggs spent most of his time in heavy melee...I think he was keeping his Siege Pulses stored for DR, I don't recall hearing them being used at all and I always notice that sound. So 95% of my Cryo Explosions were being detonated by me.

So your argument is "This class isn't capable of as much DPS as one of the best DPS classes in the game, therefore it is garbage and no one should ever play it?"

When was the last time you saw a paladin and thought... "yeah... this guy will do real well."

I haven't seen a Paladin underperform in months, actually. I'd much rather have a Paladin join my lobby than the umpteenth TGI w/Harrier.

Paladin is good
I spec out Energy Drain.

Snap Freeze is Range > Cryo Exp and Tech combo damage
Incinerate goes to Damage > Burn damage > Frozen combo
Shield go to Fire shield

the only bad thing about snap freeze is the tech combo detonate by it are on your radius not the targeted enemy.
