lulz, if it would be a 1v1 there would be plenty of stuff to kill without that getting in the way, although having that happen is frustrating considering there are plenty of instances where i could have outright killed an enemy, but "nope! SNAP FWEEZ!"

Thats the thing, though. They have to be conjoined with something. The paladin setting off his own cryo explosions is slow if you got a fairly heavy gun (harrier, saber, etc.)

I honestly hardly hear anyone i play with say "lets bring a paladin in"

Its mostly for a "lulz spam" match, but seems to have little utility outside of that, considering i'd rather kill things faster with my fury (looking at you biggs)

also, doing it wrong if not using a CSMGX with the Paladin.  i also typically roll with an Expert Package to help CDs and give some more "umph" to the CSMG.
i have a friend on here, KJ, who is the BEST Paladin i've ever seen.  she has rocked it in quite a few Plat matches and made it look quite easy.  it wasn't until i got her build tips that i could even use this kit.  in fact, it was my most hated.  now, easily one of my favs

Snap freeze is one of the only powers that can detonate and reprimes nearby targets in one cast. It hits through walls, debuffs armor, slows targets, etc. I think if it were only on the AIU, you might have an argument but it destroys on the Paladin.

snap freeze is amazing because of how cheap it is. Low cooldown, goes through walls, sets up multiple cryo explosions on any target it hits, regardless of what protection they have - oh and those cryo explosions are bugged and do twice their normal damage.

Plus it debuffs, and freezes one unprotected target, and staggers anything short of a boss unit, and has a pretty wide area of effect so you don't really have to aim.

The Paladin is a Tech Bomb just waiting to cause destruction. You have to play him very aggresively or else you're bound to die. On Gold he can utterly destroy anything, on Platinum he can pull his own weight. Honestly, I completely ignore Energy Drain and tap out everything else. Hell, I even do Part Melee on his damn shield.

Get out of extraction more if you're fighting on Giant or get out that box if your fighting on Rio and you'll find ot.

Wha?

One very very underated part of snap freeze, cryo blast, cryo amo etc is the slowdown.  A potential movement speed penalty of 35% is significant, especially when you can freeze through walls and corners.

These posts are so easily tested. Someone on his platform play a game with him as a paladin, he can play as bsol, or krosol.

why use words when you can use actions. just post the wrapup screen after. I am sure someone who is saying he is full of crap isn't afraid to prove it.
