For all the impatient a direct link, I killed a Phantom with a melee while in rage mode, so my martial artist bonus is for sure active then I hit a Phantom with a running melee... observe the damage:

I somehow knew that I would mess up the very first test...

About that time, as said before my connection to Link wasn't the best, he was lagging, also the difference in the score is mostly coming from the downtime we get after sitting on the bench for getting sync-killed. Or going to resusciate a fallen teammate.

Not to mention the spawn control which is easier in a solo then in a duo imo.

In that match I was pretty surprised that 2 clips of my reegar killed a brute already because of Incendiary IV - by the time it takes to swing that hammer a lot of the Brutes armor will be gone already actually.

The Phantom kills surprised me too, I've had 1hit kills and non-1hits which even got me sync killed a couple of times, Rage mode doesn't mean that 75% heavy melee boost is on and by my experience you can only trigger that with a hammer kill.

But once it's on, damn you're turning them phantoms into useless ragdolls like there's no tomorrow.
Also fitness 6a definitely helps since on Platinum it's hard to find 2 mooks/get 2 kill in time to get/keep that rage up.

Not the first time video footage from top players doesn't match damage calculated using the damage formulas ..
That is how we found atlas double/triple hit bug and warp + incendiary ammo glitch .. But in said cases feats in video could be replicated by other players .. So far we failed to replicate link's feats ..

So I would ask for BSN volunteers using link's build from the video try and kill platinum brutes in the same fashion and record it... Or to kill fully shielded platinum marauders with running back swing ..

Oh snap interesting observation. Hm, if I get a chance I'll try it too. I hope someone else can replicate the feat. I'd like to believe in my old PC hereoes again lol

Are you claiming you experinced platinum backhand 1HKO phantoms kills (could you provide video proof) ? or Regular heavy melee Biotic hammer 1HKO phantom kills ?

I know what wrong with your video. You didn't remove the missile launcher from your back. That's why your melee is weaker. 

That has to be the secret, I assume he can also run faster without the launcher and not get hit by enemy fire like I was:lol:

I was sure for the warlord only the hammer HM adds the 75% bonus to it.
If I'm right your Phantom kill didn't even have that bonus on anymore.
Can someone clear this up please?

Both, from my point of view the Biotic Hammer one is the more solid one.

With backhand you mean the one that looks like the regulars krogan heavy melee?
If yes - yes. BUT I'm very certain there's something about the Phantoms DR changing with it's movement pattern.
So sometimes I hit it and it will survive while same boost will kill it at a different point.

I actually like watching gameplay videos in other languages.  French and Spanish Krogan are both hilarious to me.  I wish I had an international copy where I could switch language tracks.  

There is no "Spanish Krogan", they keep the original English dubbling. So... :innocent:

Really, are there other Spanish tracks available?  Could have sworn I've watched some Spanish Mass Effect...  But I know French Krogan is awesome, because of watching the quadrapalegic guys videos.
