Try platinum lobbies set up by level 7s or Volus' in said Platinum that try to top the scoreboard at the expense of the team without popping a single shield boost, then hate mail you telling you you suck.

They kinda test my patience a little

#1. I'd take a collector adept any day over a Paladin. Also when you're pugging you take what you get and deal with it.

#2. Ayup. This has happened since launch. I've just started to ignore it.

#3. Staying behind the Juggy huh? It's good advice... unless there's mobile objectives or collectors. When there's collectors staying on the Juggys side as he gets killed and you revive him endlessly is a better option.

#4. My mic has a problem when connecting to some games it stops working, there might also be the fact that ME3s voice chat feature is BAD. Sometimes other peoples mics don't work with it or the volume is too low for a human to possibly hear. I also haven't had any particular need to ever communicate in PuGs.

#5. How about you get your arse over here! This spots got better cover and easier escape routes. We can keep moving and kite the Banshees and Praetorians which happen to MOVE LIKE HELL! Kiting is a better option for when you have lighter dmg capabilities in the team.

#6. Everyone is allowed to use whatever loadout they want to use, they bought the game after all. Either kick them or leave the lobby or if you can't do either just deal with it. 

#7. There are situations where PuGs can't get to you because you got killed under 3 Brutes and 2 Banshees or they need to kill whatever is coming up at you so they don't die when they revive you, they also might take the fact that people insta-gel as a sign of ''don't revive me''. If yer getting killed improve your situational awareness expect the spawns no matter where you are.

#8. Oh wow. This sounds kinda hypocritical, you whined about people having bad loadouts now a guy with a good gun comes around... you whine. Maybe you became the bad PuG for that guy?

#9. Soft cover maybe, hard cover is not needed. If the pistol wielder is climing up the Paladin is covering the teammate and taking the aggro off the climber. Y'know Co-op.

The control room is a good place, easy escape routes, cover, can keep enemy walking around, bosses can get stuck, enemies bunch up for missiles and best yet it requires less firepower to keep than the LZ on giant. If you're talking about the Control room in Rio. I will not use the box of shame. It's more fun to start off the middle and shoot the enemies down below. Can't take it? Go and block off a spawn near it like the docks with the boxes, will give you really good cover.

The game has been around for over a year now. I've played since launch pretty much. PuGs are not going to change. Make a thread on BSN asking for friends and play with them. Or deal with the PuGs. We've had literally THOUSANDS of ''PuGs are bad threads'' WE GET IT. Yours was not needed.

There are lots of good pugs.
Most of my gold&platinum matches end with success.
Well, it's a bit difficult to find platinum matches other than Rio, but when I do find lobbies that aren't Rio, they go well.

Then again one spectacular douchebag joined mid-game yesterday and spent the WHOLE MATCH cursing and demeaning me because I "started the match without a full team" and "expected to be carried". Didn't help that this spectacular douchebag did score first.

Fortunately he left soon after the game and I had two more excellent and polite games with the PUGs that decided to stay.

Not a big deal; many biotic powers can happily detonate Tech Bursts... hell, the ACA you've highlighted is probably going to be mostly DoT and Sphere explosions anyway, doesn't really matter if the rest of the team are techs.

A tech on a biotic team is a slightly different matter.

Slightly irritating yes ... doesn't need to be PuGs for that though now that all the promotional weapons have been moved into the UR category; many people are buying PSP (or similar) packs rather than JEPs again (me included - though I do always make sure I've got enough consuables for the match).

Funny - if they stay alive when doing that I'd say they're doing it right, especially if I'm playing as something like a Geth Soldier... "you lock 'em down, I'll burn 'em!"

Please tell me you're not one of those two special people that I was in a game with the other day (Condor/Gold) who thought it would be a good idea to try and camp the "base of inevitable death" in the middle of the map? Leaving me and a Turian guy to try and stop them from getting overwhelmed as stuff spawned in front and behind them? (until the Turian got sick of hearing them go down every 5 seconds and quit)

Camping is a bad idea ... always.

Only for about 3 seconds when you need to regen shields... especially if you're playing something fast or melee oriented, then (hard) cover is just wasting time unless you're ducking back to avoid fire from bosses.

Actually had a good experience with a camp recently:  Firebase Giant/Gold/Reaper -- host and another left at wave 7.  Usually I'm a 3rd/4th place player so I was really worried.  But me and a Kroguard basically camped the LZ -- moving off to the drop off ladder once and a while.  As the Jug I just kept melee'ing and gathering brutes, banshees, etc. around me.  Once a good enough crowd was gathered -- either I or my teammate hit the missle!  Extracted!  (luckily we both had enough missles).

I think people tend to blame pugs for their own shortcomings or to fluff up their ego.

I enjoy pugs. I enjoy the variety. I enjoy the challenge. I take it upon myself to try and lead by example. Some of my most enjoyable games have been the haphazard chaos of trying to carry a team of new-to-gold pugs.

You fail to realise what the term means. PuG = Pick up Group = people are free to pick what they want so point #1. = Useless.

It is actually reasonable not wanting to sacrifice consumables when not playing with friends. Since you cant know how the others perform. Another Huff and puff rage on point #2. way to go OP.

I die the least with jugg, and i bet the others would respond with same words, also, we would see you as the srub too, Also, the point of the jugg melee is to keep the bosses tied to place, making it easy pickings for the rest of the team, also to give him stagger immunity, and a nice wad of shields every second, the damage is how you say... a bonus.

nah...this is only thing i agree with.  ESPECIALLY if your N7 is low and you got shiyet weapons and mods....   im seeing this way too often since the last DLC came out...lots of new peeps....rather...the missile glitch generation trying to play legit BUT DONT KNOW HOW.

1) who cares, you don't need team synergy, also your using a TGI, you don't get to make fun of anyone with your crutch class
2) they should use them but if they don't big whoop. do you even need a 4th? you shouldn't
3) used the juggy on platinum for teh 1st time last night. he still is awesome. spitfire is good on platinum and he is tanky as hell. i only died once and it was cause i had all the aggro on me during a wave 10 escort and my team safely did the escort w/o getting touched becuase evrything was attacking me
