Once we establish some trade route in the Sword Coast, caravans starts to automatically trade and give PC trade bars.
But what kind of "time" is used for calculating income?
I mean, say, X trade bars real world minutes?
Or, X trade bars per in-game time?
Or, something completely different?
Does resting (and thus proceeding the in-game clock by 8 hours) gives PC some additional income or not?

it's been a long time since i looked at this. But i Think each time a caravan completes a haul from one town to another, ig Time, it racks up a variable which gets converted to tradebars each time the PC pops his head in at the keep.
not sure how resting affects the movement of the caravans. But there's compounded interest involved, and once I did an especially long journey and when i got back there were 2 billion tradebars waiting ... but when i tried to trade in 1.5b good ol' whats her name just stood there and didn't give me a gp. Lol
