I'm just very curious, but who already bought their points for Return to Ostagar?

I've had 400 points sitting stale in my account since December 3rd, 2009.

Just wondering... Posted Image

Quiet a few people I imagine, what with the delay and all.

I'm waiting for some sort of . . . DLC bundle deal to come along myself.

Apparently the holiday season lasts all year now . . .

Can't say I'm suprised, especially when you consider how long it takes people to do their $!@#ing christmas shopping.

I saw a Press Release stating that it was finally being released today. Went to the BioWare DLC where it states that RtO is available for a purchase of 400 BioWare Bucks. So I buy the 400 BW Bucks and go to do the download. Only to discover that RtO is NOT on the Available for download list.

Makes me wonder if BioWare needed some quick cash to make payroll for the end of the month.

Points as in for using on DLC ? Not going to happen, i boycott DLC out of principle as "microtransactions" is the new way of delivering an average game, then charging for making it the way it should have been (this is actually not the case with Bioware, but look at as good as any other company out there). My complaint towards Bioware would be their "#¤%"#% advertisements for DLC in the game.. take a quest, then get "download any most of all, PAY US" somewhere in the dialogue. I find that quite revolting, and something that shouldnt have been in the game at all. Thats just me tho :)

I bought the points today, only because it appeared from these forums that the actual release was underway.

I bought the points a few weeks ago and used them yesterday to buy Return to Ostagar. The download got stuck at 0% so now my points are lost :-(.

Turns out I have a bunch of points on xbox live I didn't remember buying until I looked recently. So I'll be more than ready once RTO comes.

Totally agree.  That Levi guy just showed up in the camp with a big annoying exclamation point, so I talked to him and then found out he was really just there to advertise Warden's Keep.  And then it automatically put the WC quest into my Journal.

I think Rockstar did DLC right with GTA 4, the two DLCs were more like 15 hour expansion packs that were unrelated to the main story line.

Yep. Bought them and actually spent them already on RtO when it showed as available content on my PC game client. Hope that having it showing in "Your Registered Game Promotion" helps when it's finally released because, as of now, it still shows and asks me for another 400 points! Which I'd gladly pay too. It's so fraking cheap for a good work (not talking about tech stuff)!

For what is worth I've also donated 10 times that to some organizations helping in Haiti's post-earthquake situation and since BioWare seems to have had an "haiti" of their own with this DLC, let's give them a break!

For you people who bought the points ahead of time. Probably a good time to learn that pre ordering anything that's software related is kind of silly cause delay will always happen.

I bought just enough for this DLC a while back when the initial release date was announced and I never gonna do that again. In the future I wait until a DLC is actually released. I should have known better.
