I bought just enough for this DLC a while back when the initial release date was announced and I never gonna do that again. In the future I wait until a DLC is actually released. I should have known better.

Hopefully you didn't preorder awakening or ME2 expecting it to come out on time too.

I was actually on the fence an hour ago about pre-ordering the ME2 DD version on Steam. Need to control myself and think the pre-order incentive is not worth it. :P

No, haven't bought my bioware points yet.

Though I am going to buy ME2 deluxe on steam this evening... Looking forwards to that one :-)

I would be surprised if you didn't buy it (being a mod and all). Would be great if BW gave the mods the game as a token of appreciation for all the work they do, though.

I am suprised you don't get some sort of discount or something.

Or do you?

Nope, all the moderators are community members like everyone else here... we just have a little plastic badge and the chance to help the community have a fun / helpful place to talk about the games...

In a way the absolute lack of any benefits (beyond the christmas card) is good, because it makes it absolutely clear this is nowhere related to a job (effort in exchange for compensation) but purely part of a computer gaming hobby :-)

I bought my points for ps3 a very long time again, probably when it was first announced and my pc points in January, but it isn't like they expire or anything lol

I bought the points for RtO on Jan 5th before finding out that it had been delayed. So they already have my money.

I wanna Christmas card!  Although a paid/compensated job would be nice.  I'm unemployed IT Guy/Writer (2 degrees!)

Of course not. Why would I buy any until there is something to actually spend them on?

ME2 went gold in December. There's no reason to think it won't come out on January 26th unless a werehouse burns down.

I bought them yesterday since I was anticipating downloading RtO this morning, but no such luck. Oh well. I can wait.

Bought my points on the day the 'other' RtO got released. I was tempted to download it and play...after the successful resistance check i headed over to the Bioware checkout and bought 800 BPs. How much will RtO cost?

I do for the pc version, but as far as I can see, it still isn't available.

All I can do, is to wait....

You think EA wouldn't burn down a warehouse and cause themselves massive financial losses just to make ME fans upset? I know I would.

Same here, I've had them since early December. Kinda starting to regret it now with delay after delay.

Wait, there is an actual plastic badge?
Why didn't I know about it before?
Where do I sign up?

I haven't bought my points yet, though I was tempted to, I will wait for the actual release.

It's gonna be 400 Bioware points (left hand side, 3rd bullet point)

You are bad. I'd never do that... though if it happened and I had nothing to do with it, I might sit on the forums and watch the outrage roll.

I bought my BioWare points last night when I thought it was still available. Took me several minutes of trying to figure out why I couldn't download it before I checked to find out about the hiccup.

No big deal though.

I've also pre-ordered the collectors edition of Mass Effect 2 although I don't know how I'm going to do as I suck at shooters -- might have to turn the difficulty down on that one.

EB Games didn't have Awakening in their system at last check so once they do I will pre-order.

Go BioWare!

Alodar :)

Made the mistake of buying on 5th, expecting release, only to find that it had already been pulled but no info had been posted on the DLC pages.

I won't do that again!
