I mean when you use her in the Aramax Arena, according to the wiki she only gets Tactical Cloak.  Shadow Strike was like her signature move from ME2 and ME3's combat isn't that different so why can't they bring that over?

That is an excellent question.

Probably had to do with implementing the AI for SS on NPCs in this game. I would have figured they could use something from ME2, but I don't know, I am not a video game coder.

Or you could say it is because ME3 was an attempt to troll ME2 fans.

Also some would argue Flashbang was at least as signature as SS. But we didn't get that either.

You get Shadow Strike in MP with the N7 Shadow which i assume works in similar fashion to Kasumi's ability(you teleport to whatever enemy your pointing at).

I think i used Shadow Strike with Kasumi more often and used Flashbang more on my Shepard in ME2.

It's was glitch prone in ME2 and I would assume that it was to expensive to implement in 3 for a combat arena cameo.

"i believe a modding is in order"

I doubt that could happen, but I'd love to be proven wrong.

I'm shocked she didn't have something like Flashbang Grenades. Or Arc-Grenades.

It's in MP. No excuse, except for obvious indifference.

Bioware does not care about Kasumi:(

Slam is encoded in From Ashes. If you didn't have From Ashes, but got the Citadel DLC....well that could cause complications.

You couldn't even get a one night stand with her. What's up with that?

Here are the powers I would have given her.

Overload
Sabotage
Shadow Strike
Flash Bang Grenade

actually, that's not true. his mission and dialogues are encoded in From Ashes, but all of his abilities are in the main game without any dlcs.

Kasumi's deadly shadow strike and flash bang grenade were amazing. I liked bringing her along on missions for those very abilities, plus she has lots of funny dialogue. Wish we could have had some ME2 teammates on our squad in ME3 (besides Armax)

Nah, it works halfways... Kasumi also had the ability to teleport back to her initiate location, when the SS was complete.

OT: Yeah, some abover post said, maybe it was because of balance. I also found weird she didn't have her Trademark Power
