I never said it was. But standing next to each other at least forces teammates to shoot at the same targets and gives people an opportunity to revive others, which is the best teamwork you can often hope to get out of a PUG. And it's better teamwork than four players standing at different spots around the map with no regard to spawn points. Obviously, there are better ways to achieve teamwork, but it's better than the alternative.rlucht wrote...

That's not always true. Camping forces the team to work as a team, because you're all in the same place together. A lot of matches fail because people go off on their own and get picked off, making it more difficult on the remaining players.ISHYGDDT wrote...
The thing is: camping doesn't really improve your sucess rate by much, and is slower. How does that benefit the team?
Working as a team =/= standing next to each other.

yes, i know that. every game is diffrent. i'm just speaking from my gaming experience in Socom 4 and BF3.
And I'm just saying that speaking from your experience with those games is irrelevant, and if you know it is then why bother to bring it up?
Oh yeah, cause everyone has to know what a BA you are on some other game they don't care about...

Hey, don't blame him. He's unaware of a lot of things.
Like the fact that he doesn't actually own multitudes of "army fighter jets" or flew them in the gulf war, and that he isn't actually a hybrid soldier/sailor/airman/marine, that he's not best friends with Katee Sackhoff ... Annnd he/it seems to be undecided on it's gender, too.

People trying to be Rambo is just annoying. Once I see people doing that (2/4) I decide to use no in-game equipment because it won't matter.

I could go on for hours telling people how I was one of only a few people that mastered a lightsaber instant kill in Jedi Knight during fast paced games while invisible. But that tells no one anything in a discussion about a differen Let her (him?) spew the irrelevant bragging all he (she?) wants, it makes absolutely no difference in the scope of things.

I randomly joined a game earlier and it happened to be Rio Reaper on platinum and I was using a justicar. So three of us including a juggernaut were hanging around the boxes area but we never went in the box itself and there were this drell infiltrator who decided that having high score is much more important and kept wandering off to the other end of the map so we kept getting surrounded by enemies spawned next to us. On top of that he never helped with the objectives on waves 3 and 6 which were taking down the 4 reaper thingies both of the times and they are ideal for an infiltrator.
so laugh all you want at camping if there is no team play even a game on silver could fail
