Yes, they will never learn how to play normally by pathetically abusing broken game mechanics like the box of shame. They should learn to play on whatever difficulty they feel comfortable with and move up from there.

If maxing your manifest is more important to you than actually getting skill at the game you might as well just missile glitch since its faster.

If you read some of the replies in here about how shameful and dishonorable it is to camp in a game make you wonder if they also think if camping make them feel less manly.

Because it's an inefficient way to get credits, and that's its only purpose: credits.  You are making gold level credits/hour while camping in a box on platinum.  That's not really that clever. Rio is a huge map and enemies spawn so far away from you that it adds significantly to the time.  

That said, I don't really have a problem with it, since I never PUG platinum, and therefore never encounter it.

You are also entirely inventing the statements of others that you are contradicting. It's called: reductio ad absurdum. In conversation, it basically means you're arguing with yourself, while trying to mock others and make them look bad.

90% of randoms with good layouts i've seen have done terrible. like the sexbot+wriath that barely broke 50k in an U/U/G game or the TGI + harrier 8 who claimed he never used that layout before and then came in last and rage quit or the demolisher with harrier 8 who came in last and rage quit etc etc

Don't listen to the naysayers, OP. Games are for fun. Some people like to camp, others like to spawn nuke... You're only doing it wrong if you run out of medigel and fail to extract.

well is there any other alternatives for those who are rather new to easily earn credits??
If I remember correctly when i started doing Rio Platinum with a krogan soldier the only decent weapon I had  was a low level N7 pirana and 3 missiles... do you think any of those "elite" missilers would allow me joinging their games? besides some of us dont have good friends playing this game so public games are the only choice...

First of all I dont use a mic and have the chat function turned off at all time for various reasons so I wouldnt know if someone is raging or not. Also I do join bronze and silver games with a low level equipped with good layouts but thats only for leveling and testing new builds and if I came in last I dont really care

Holding a position is not camping.  It's a legitimate game plan.  Works very well when you have a mix of snipers and Jugs, especially on maps like Reactor, Giant, Ghost and Dagger.

I like to play this way sometimes, but I also enjoy run-and-gun. Just enjoy the variety.

Play however you want, an ignore those who try to tell you how to play.

what does that have to do with people with high level URs doing bad in gold cause they never learned hwo to play while farming?
