EDI's ... err ... white costume

I picked up the alternate appearance pack, since it was the only piece of DLC I still hadn't bought and I had some spare BW points.
I switched EDI to her white costume and discovered that she is ... well ... anatomically correct. From a lore standpoint, this kind of makes sense, since Eva was passing herself off as human on Mars, and it wasn't until her "skin" was burned off that we find out she is a robot.
But then EDI takes control and is all shiny metal and smooth throughout the entire game, except when she is wearing her white outfit. And it isn't even subtle like with Miranda's. It is very obvious.
I have a very hard time believing it is just a modeling error with the DLC. There is NO way this would go through testing without being noticed.

(I'm not opposed to nudity or anything but Bioware why the hell is so much cooch even necessary?)

Personally, I prefer games to be realistic from this standpoint. When Traynor gets in the hot tub, she really should be nude. Handle these situations the way they do in Witcher 2, especially since they crossed the language barrier in R territory with James' dialog.
But this is a bit of a departure from the Bioware norm.

Maybe if Husks had little, shriveled-up cyber dingdongs, then it'd be fair.

In other words, nudity is a great way of getting your game in hot water and getting rated A (which is BAD for business). I realize some games get away from this, but that IS the norm for games and how they go. What they added is weird and silly, and I don't know why, but who really cares? Perhaps its just a joke, why *are* we looking at her crotch or chest anyway?
Also you're talking about anatomy errors, on a story/art level I'm confused? EDI's body is a copy of a human's, what is exactly wrong with it?

Yeah, but... dude? This game does not need robot cameltoe and Banshee vajayjays. I really don't mind tasteful nudity at all and wouldn't bat an eyelash at the sight of a rendered nipple, but I gag a little whenever I remember that someone got paid to haphazardly slap labia everywhere they don't belong.

Dunno about Edi's crotch, but the banshee one is artistic nudity, it's supposed to freak you out and it's supposed to be disturbing. It's the same reason why things like Xenomorphs have a sexualized look to them. The whole point is to subconciously (and conciously) disturb you and create a discord in how your brain views it.

That would be acutally new.
I mean, who in mainstream has balls to show... well, balls.
And I mean mainstream anywhere.

I will make a game where the walls are nothing but Edi's crotch as an image and the sounds and music are all Edi making noises with her voice.
It will be the most atmospheric horror game ever, on par with classics like Resident Evil 6

If you think that's graphic, try taking a good look at a Banshee's crotch next time you run into one.

I'm not sure which is more disturbing, that Bioware added it or that people looked for it.

hey, that's sexist, not every husk used to be a guy, they should be 50/50 vajayjay to dong. (of course then biower would have to make two different models and the rEApers would never give them the money for that)AdmiralCheez wrote...

The real question here, is whether it's 2 Turian balls, or a full Krogan quad.Demonique wrote...
