Now I'm sure its not the 'best' of the 'epeen weapons' but I love this weapon!
 
I only have lvl1 version it does very nice damage for a handgun, the only draw back is it only holds 24 shots but since I'm typically running all over the place I'm usually near an ammo pack or simply use consumable ammo.

Ok outside of the M37-Falcon(man how cool would it be if these grenedes stuck! ) this my personal favorite weapon, I just like -what I call- the nuclear rabbit pellets of 'mini boom' very fun!

on the Fury.. DC ->pew- pew.->throw,  move on to next target 'boom boom' dead (if the Biotic explosion doesn't kill them that is) as I'm in the middle of the next one..

also fun on the Volus Adept since I'm mainly a shield bot/support at least i can help a bit with damage with that weapon without sacrificing support

I'm personally not one to try for ''best score' I really try for objectives, help my team and of course max $$ as I'm still trying to attain gold level item/ Rares/UR etc.
 Shoot if I get the melee stun for this I may use this on my Shadow!

What would be the best mods to use for this weapon? currently using the Ultra light mob and lvl 1 damage. I 

I assume the pistol power Magnifier once I get it?

Use it on GI for maximum pleasure.

Scorpion is a great caster weapon (power magnifier certainly doesn't hurt), also makes a great sidearm.

Love the Scorpion!
I usually go for the extra ammo mod & barrel to increase damage.

Personal fave is to use it with the Asari Justicar. Pop a few rounds at enemies feet, wait for boom to soften them up for Reave or Pull/Reave combos. Took out a whole spawn in a few seconds like that once, it was as effective as a Cobra nuke.

I personally prefer a cranial trauma system and the piercing mod myself.

Mine's only lvl I too, I use it all the time ;-)

Love my scorpion, use it on my GE often. Just love running towards cloaked phantoms trying to flank the group and turning them into meat debris. Or laying down a clip on the floor at a corner when the enemy is approaching.

This is my absolute favorite weapon! It can take out groups of enemies. It does not work too well on bosses tho. I dont think the armor piercing mod does anything. It certainly doesn't go through targets or walls. Wide area of explosion too. Good for clearing tight rooms...
