Unfortunately, no DLC for any of the other games are on sale due to them being bought with BioWare Points, which aren't on sale.

But hey, if you can pick up some good deals out of the it, might as well make the best of it.

Getting involved with origin just results in a quagmire of hurt for the consumer

and if you were a bonehead like me and bought SimCity earlier this month, You got a free game (from a small selection)
Not your fault (or any other consumer) they really screwed you over in that disaster.
Honestly you deserved a refund if you wanted it

In the end it's kinda like the episodic model TWD is pushing, but EA is bad and blah blah blah.

I Take full responsibility for my own purchases, I mean, nobody put a gun to my head and told me I had to buy SimCity, I just bought it thinking Maxis' baby would be at least a lot less Crash-prone than SimCity 4 was (and that game crashed more than an NPC driver in Grand Theft Auto). Either way, it was a decent little "we ****ed up big, here, have a freebie on the house" by Electronic Arts, and it got me Battlefield 3.
From what I've read, Electronic Arts' Public Relations department has a legendarily bad reputation. But recently, it seems someone at EA has been lighting fires under feet and chairs trying to improve Customer Opinions. Mind you, they have a very LONG way to go if they're trying to compete with the likes of Valve Software (who, at the time of this writing, still haven't made Half-Life 2: Episode 3), but its better than doing nothing.

The "gun to the head argument" does not apply.
You were entitled (I hate that word, but this is one of the few times its relevant) to a working product on the day you bought it. Hence you deserved a refund if you wanted it.
Them offering free games is irrelevant, them "doing their best" is irrelevant, them taking off there shirts and doing gangham style for your amusement is irrelevant, your legally allowed to have it.
but the point is mute because you are pleased with EA peace offering, and that is fair enough

All Mass Effect and Dragon Age titles are on sale, along with ME1's Pinnacle Station DLC. The prices seem extremely reasonable, so if anyone's been on the fence on any of these games, I suggest you check it out.

good thing with you telling us , seems like bioware never sends us any emails regarding their games even tho we are registered with them for ages . if not for you we might have not known about this.
there is a thing there called "mass effect : the final hours" and costs 2GBP lol o.O

purchased Dragon Age 2. I hate DA:O (was a cheap NWN2 Ripoff, woulda rather played NWN2), but hey, for $6, I'll take the risk!
Even I wouldn't say I hated Origins, but give it a shot. If the recycled areas don't ruin the experience, you may enjoy it. Happy gaming.

Still won't be touching origin though seeing as you can get code attacked through it xD

They truly are a shameless and repulsive money grabbing business. EA makes Activision look like a caring old granny.

DLC are like games; some people get more tempted to buy them at lower rate.
