Some folks are wondering if the retailers are confusing the release date for the fancy-pants edition versus the regular edition, or if this is an error of any kind.

Would very much appreciate clarification, since I will in all likelihood be moving a week before it's delivered if the new date is true...

Dark Horse still has it as April 17th as well. Hopefully its just an amazon f-up. I got the same email. Amazon currently has the publication date as April 30th. Oddly enough amazons pub date for the dragon age comics by DH have also been late on the actual publish date. Not sure why it would be a difference of 13 days on world of thedas though.

Actually, I am wondering this as well because the EA/Bioware store site has the Exclusive Edition/signed version of The World of Thedas marked as coming out April 30th as well.

Why wouldn't you believe Amazon? I mean they didn't send us e-mails for no reason would they. It isn't exactly a long delay. All the way to May 6 doesn't sound so bad to me.

I'd like some clarification as well. The email says May but elsewhere it says April. It seems odd that Amazon hasn't changed the release date even though they sent an email saying it has been changed. Hopefully it is just some sort of mix up. Maybe tweeting Ben Gelinas will get us a definate answer.

The publisher is still listing it as April 17, and so is the Book Depository.

Could just be an Amazon thing?

Weird, now the Book Depository is also saying the book won't be published until April 30. That's two weeks after the date that Dark Horse indicates, April 17.

It'd be nice to have some official clarification, although I guess it's a Dark Horse issue if they're going to be a few weeks late getting the book to retail stores.

It's definitely peculiar. Amazon hardcopy still has Apr 30 release date. Amazon kindle is May 1. Barnes & Noble has Apr 16 for both hardcopy and Nook. darkhorse.com still has Apr 17 for hardcopy. Makes me wonder if I should cancel my amazon pre-order and just pop into my local BN and pick it up.

When I first ordered the book it said that it would arrive around April 19- April 23. May 3- May 7 isn't that long of a wait but I still was hoping i'd get it sooner rather than later.

****ty deal. I haven't pre-ordered one, but I almost went for the exclusive version....until it told me I'd have to spend over $100 on it. Bit too much for me. Guess I'll just wait till the normal edition hits the book store, whenever that is
