I agree. That response was to a poster who said it was trying to deceive you. The Catalyst like any sentient being has an opinion. It gives you 3 options and based on it's opinion, it thinks Synthesis is an option. You are free to chose whichever one you like.
Fair enough. I don't have anything against the idea of the Catalyst lying, but the thing is that there can be no discussion about synthesis under that assumption. This thread is based on the Catalyst being truthful (does not have to mean truth, it's its opinion as you said), and therefore the possibility of the Catalyst lying should be discussed elsewhere.
