I find it ok so far. It really does a good job on guardians when you aim for the slot in their shield. I never get good results with the charge function.

When you charge it, shoot it at the ground in front of (or next to) the enemy you're trying to kill.

Good gun, suffers a bit from lag, but still good.
Roughly half of my melee/cqc characters carry it.
I like that you can make the grenades bounce like the falcon's.

Basically this. I don't think I have a character that I haven't used the Venom on. Not the best choice for every character, but it works well on almost every kit.

I'm going to say any kit based around detonating ammo. Personally, I'm going with Drell Vanguard.
