I (GI-Javelin) recently connected to an ongoing PuG, FB:Rio/Reapers/Platinum.  3 N7 Destroyers were in the box of shame.

A couple of them had Harriers, and the other had a Typhoon.  I have nothing against the box of shame, but unless at least 2 of the N7 Destroyers had PPRs or hell, ANYTHING that did not burn through ammo, that's NOT going to work.  On Gold, sure.  But on Platinum?  Yeah... no.

Poor ammo crate.  Turned into the village bicycle.

That map is horrible for a moving Destroyer. If there is lag it's worse. My Destroyer has been sync-killed more on that map than any other.
I swear once I ran past a Banshee and she slapped me on the rear before fondling my heart.

I could see multiple harriers being a problem, but otherwise there
shouldn't really be ammo issues. Besides the ammo crate in the box there
are three other ammo crates in very close proximity.

People just gotta learn to be a bit more mobile instead of saying glued
inside that box all game.

They should banned for life from ME3 for hiding in a box of shame with THREE destroyers.

Vorcha flamer or geth trooper is pretty bad or any soldier apart from the juggy.
Destroyer don't stagger and the ammo crate is very giving assuming you can get to it and not sandwiched between 2 people.
So how did the match go, I take it extraction was but a dream?

I was exposed to a team camping in a new spot in a game last night. They were all camped in the upper room on Vancouver. As expected in the early waves (geth) it was manageable but at the higher waves it was a death trap. Do people often camp up there? I can see starting each wave up there which is fine but just stapling your butt to that room is crazy,

It was a PuG so I didn't say anything.  It was funny seeing 3 Destroyers in there though.  How'd you guys manage that?  7 sticks of butter and a couple of shoehorns?

My personal favorite experience is when I PUG it and find people doing Rio/Collector/Platinum (box of shame).

1) Praetorians will destroy you in the box.
2) Scions will destroy you in the box.
3) Possessed Abomination will likely destroy the entire team
4) Swarmers will render your cherished volus useless.

Why, oh why, do people insist on trying to use the box of shame against collectors?

The box of shame is terrible. I'm all for camping sites, if that's how you want to play the game, but the Box of Shame is an embarrassingly limited strategy. And half the time it's a good way to get half the team killed at once. That's a 25% crappiness rate. The number of times folks go in there, only for a pair of Atlases to come along at once, or a bunch of Phantoms, or some Geth pyros, or Swarmers, or god knows how many other things which can and will turn the box of shame into a box of pain. Just, if you're crap, fine, use it on Silver/Gold, but not on Platinum, guys, sheesh.

cause when you're already trying to abuse the shame box chances are you don't know the basics of how that enemy faction works.

I take it you only run a destroyer with the grenades.  The hydra missle system staggers quite effectively,
