It probably happens often without realizing it.

For example about a year ago I was playing with two people who were complaining about a thread that had been posted on the BSN. I didn't recognize their login names, and they wouldn't have recognized mine, as I use a different name than my display name here.

I never mentioned being on the BSN and wouldn't have known they were, if they hadn't happened to complain about a specific thread on the BSN.

Ha, ha - sorry about that!  I don't mean to be self-deprecating.

But we're talking about serious people who study the game - stuff like game mechanics including spawn points etc. I don't know any of that stuff; I just run in the wrong direction, do my own thing and get killed in the most pointless ways possible .

I do also have this thing where I do well enough in PUGs, but then sometimes I have peope friending me afterwards because we're fellow BSNers, and then as soon as I get in a game with them the next day; the tables have completely turned. I just get so nervous and dumb the second I know that people are from the BSN and could be posting about my failures and inadequacies on here afterwards .

Thanks ; you're right. I know that sometimes I take myself way too seriously. It's only a game and we're meant to have fun.
 
Not to mention that getting in matches with the likes of yourself, Kaxas, Leland Gaunt (to name but a few of you awesome people out there) is like taking a holiday for me since I can kick back, put my feet up and relax while you guys do all the hard work and I get a share of the spoils without even needing to break a sweat!

 Not new at all to ME franchise but just finished me3 for the first time and trying to play multiplayer. Can't find any bronze pubs. should i just pick silver instead?

You'd be surprised .

I would say that people have too much time on their hands, but then I'm unemployed (I actually have a disability that prevents me from working full-time); I don't have a girlfriend or kids to worry about (most of my family lives abroad), and so I have nothing but time on my hands and yet I'm still not half as good as the people on here .

Have you downloaded all the dlc? If you haven't you only get matched with other people who haven't. What system are you on? I'm sure some people on here will give you a hand getting started.

Had some good games with Blissgirl, Mega, and Surly Sue saturday night. A few good games with BlackProject, Slojack. Also a pug with Joy of Chaos where we ended up duoing a gold game and then running a few other games together after that. Great games with all.
