That was funny because I was just deciding whether to bail (no gear on gold, really?) then the cavalry arrived in the form of b00g13man, The Prince of Pugs!

I haven't played much recently, too much work and other distractions. The last week or so I'd decided to try and finish off the challenges that I have left to do, which means lots of terrible weapons like the M-13 Raptor. 200k points with that? I resorted to bronze solos. No way I was going to inflict that on anybody on my Friend list... next up the Tempest, M5-Phalanx and farming grabs.

Dax - would be great to catch up some time, I'll look out for you when I'm next on.

That would most definitely have been a duo. The randoms that dropped in were better than what we would've got out of them. I did get mad though when one of them decided to nuke the non-threatening spawn during that pizza delivery.

I joined the game on Wave 7, I guess the host had it preset to Geth White! I should of just left, because all that damn Trooper did was spam Flamer in my face.

Just ran into PalmOf40sorrows for a good game - saved me from the appalling spate of awful randoms I had today. He joined wave two and did not bailed, unlike someone we all know and love .

Bah, why do I always get spotted after lousy performances.

I joined that game on wave 7 as well, and was greeted by a skull and several hunters kicking the snot out of me. The trooper and the Krolord were both alive to start with, but both went down and bled out before I could reach them. I was hiding in the corner trying to decide whether or not to abandon my precious smg amp and quit when Hoocie turned up to the rescue. Things went a little more smoothly after that.

I thought about sending a message after the game, but I was in more of a slink away quietly mood. Never much liked preset map and enemy lobbies anyway! Thanks for the game Hooch.

Ran into Mgamerz in a Hydra PUG yesterday. He was meleeing things with a Havoc. I was mostly trying to shoot things in the head with a Revenant Quarksman, but occasionally I sabotaged his melee targets to give him that extra 50% boost to damage. Quick and easy game, though somebody was quite talky throughout -- at least relative to the usual PC game.

I know that while this is certainly the thread to do so, I understand it is...unfashionable to compliment our fellow bsn'ers, but eff it, I don't care yo!

Ran into Zyzimorph (!) and MaxDmian (!) in a PUG. Almost left because I figured I would be largely vestigial, but was like, hey, I can stand to get carried a bit.

Which was exactly what happened! Best vanilla engineer I've ever played with (Dmian) and 'morph's Vorcha Engineer was pretty sweet to watch in action too.

Preeeety hilarious really, and I had  forgot that this game can be fun and easy breezy. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside it does.

SO THERE BSN FORUM, SUCK ON THAT POSITIVITY!

Good lookin' out fellow bsn'er. It's been a good day for the puglife for sure. I feel you on the awful randoms of late. Almost like the RNG store. I'd been having a good streak of puggin' (w/out bsn folk) and then just a rash of bad bad bad.

So anyway, huzzah for us I guess? :happy:

On topic, just dropped into an on-going game with victoriakm on wave 8, versus Geth, and you'll be pleased to know I used up all my gels and rockets in the waves that followed. Didn't unfortunately make it to extraction because I couldn't see the timer and manage the last of my resources appropriately.

That was a rough match man, headed towards a wave 8 wipe until you rode in and got us through to wave 11.  I was sure you were going to leave as soon as you dropped in, given the fun we had LAST night with geth on giant.

Lol. The funny thing is I didn't realise you were in the game for quite a while. I'd been dropped into so many ongoing games and decided to pop some heads before leaving.
