U/U/G lobbies

Had a couple of  games hosted by Deerber (thanks for carrying me with your awesome vanguard skillz, lag was just moderate) and FasterThanFTL (another excellant player, but we were at a disadvantage with bad lag, and WTF with all the missile spamming for scoring?). Both were killing the game. I'd like to host to play a vanguard, but I wouldn't want to subject other players to the terrible lag. Although, I imagine some don't care or actually enjoy it.

Does a PSN ID "Gibblesworth" post here?
I was told "u should be bronze" and "knew we should kik", I'm assuming he must be on BSN because that was some quality humour that only a BSNer would pull. Though his performance makes me suspect.
Probably just some PUG being a PUG?
