I have a 30 meg connection, I don't think it's the problem. Unless the "less than desirable" connection is to the clown hosting the game, in which case, I can believe it, I'm pretty sure I've played in lobbies hosted in Australia before.

It not only depends on your speed. I have 20M connection and I hardwired my ps3. I hardly had any wfop. Seems people who had problem joining lobbies had more wfops. But then this is ps3 we are speaking. Nothing works there.
Pugged into WhatsUpRob yesterday. I figured he'd moved on from me3 but I landed in a lobby he was in, he left so I msg'd him and we got a couple games in with me0120 also.
I was quiet mostly cuz I was cookin', but the games were wild fun!

I'm not sure they BSN but earlier i had a couple of games with N7_Starlight and Starlight_N7. Good games.

Bah, I cannot help that the enemies are attracted to me! Besides, I had a killstreak on wave 1 with the falcon & Incinerate.
Ran into N7Redeemed, MCloutierg and DIBIASSE for a quick fire and tech burst filled match against the Geth. Then real life kicked in and I had to jet. I haven't seen stuff die that quick in a long time. Wish I could have stayed for more.
Decided to play one last game last night and dropped into a lobby with Kalas747. Dont know how long he had been waiting but he had no patience for the PUGs dicking around in the store and left.

Went looking for a plat PUG, and dropped into a game in progress that I quickly realized was gold. The upside was that Dovakiin-N7 (if I got that right) was there with some other good players, so i stuck around for another after. A couple of nice-n-easy games

I ran into TchOkt-something (I can never remember or pronounce his username so I just call him 'tick-tock' in my head) and BabyQuarian during a bronze game. I was working on my non-UR weapon challenge points. I have no idea why these two were slumming it with the noobies. 
Anyway TchOk... err Tick-tock changed it to Gold, as per BSN rule 4.5dxke39 Section 12. BQ was a QFI (if I recall correctly), TT was a Human Adept, I was QFE and we have a random guest "N7_Wtfeverhisnamewas" playing a SI.
That game was terribad. Geth/London. I dc'd about wave 4 and was able to get back in with no consumables. Ended up clutching wave 7, but we wiped on wave 8.
I just played with BrownStreaks and I failed miserably.
Long time lurker, first time poster.
Played some decent games with Alquinn (Heldarion?) tonight (and I think another BSNer, but can't remember their origin id), but had some distracting company show up about halfway through the second game. I thought I'd power through it, but then early in the third game someone decided to spill a quart of water all over my router and cable modem (they're next to my desk), so I was kind of half there for the rest of the games, doing triage and trying to play at the same time - bad idea.
I probably would have stayed a lurker, but I felt really bad for basically turning into a leecher for the last few games (not that I'm that great to begin with), and wanted to apologize for the craptastic performance.
