Ran into Lucky Star. I had to rage-quit by wave 4....I couldn't take the lag anymore, and not to mention half the enemies were invisible. My apologies.

 

I just dropped into that lobby... The lag was kinda bad Dx Teleporting enemies everywhere.

 

Rage quit the last game (sorries), annihilation field only working when it wanted was getting on my nerves.

 

 

For some reason I feel like if we ever get to play one of us will rage quit due to horribad lag.

Landed in a lobby that Striker93175 was hosting.  Had some good games.  Someone joined us mid match that sounded like kid (sorry if you're reading this and you're not a kid).  Hearing that player yelling out, "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!  A Banshee!" every few minutes in the Reaper game made the match entertaining.

You mean you didn't get me with those A-bombs intentionally?  I'm disappointed, it was hilarious the way you kept getting me.

 

For those wondering, I was playing a melee N7 Shadow to try and show a pug how it's done (No shotgun omniblade?  An AP mod on a GPS?  Which they replaced with a smart choke when asked to change it, I might add ), and every time I'd run up to a A-bomb to decapitate it, someone would beat me to the kill.

Actually, I think I trolled myself more, you might have noticed I'm a bit indiscriminate with shadow strike.  Anyway, GG.

 

How was the game on my host?  I'm usually loath to host at that time of night, Because the other guys in the lobby are invariably from the other side of the pond.

 

I've played on a UK host several times before. It wasn't anything I couldn't handle. I was expecting my shots to not hit immediately, I have also been on the business end of an Australia host and a german host too. I still believe a UK connection is a bit better than mid-Europe or Australia. Game went pretty smoothly. I think only once my matrix didn't register but that was way better than I was expecting.

Played a couple with smeckie & a Scottish sounding chap with 200000+ CP earlier. 2nd bordered on biotic death squad level of boom, good fun.

GG's. I wasn't at my best but everyday can't be perfect. MCloutierg was my friend that is was playing with.

I got dropped into a GiP with FuriousFelicia again last night (Vancouver, Geth IIRC - you were dominating with a GE) - I swear I've dropped into more random games with him now than FasterThanFTL!

 

Host then switched it up to Platinum and you left... I switched to KroDept to stick around to see how painful it would be. The answer, very. Reactor/Reapers/Platinum - with the host (who was pretty good), me and 2 randoms with low level weapons (like a Phaeston VI or something on one)... be glad you got out when you did.

 

We did manage partial extraction but with me and the host clocking up almost 200k each and the 2 randoms under 50k each I think - it was like pulling teeth.

Honestly, I don't care. I'm getting terribad lag and frame drops pretty much 99% of the games I play nowadays. At least I'd play with someone I've always wanted to play with 

 

 

On a sidenote, not a pug, but I noticed Diablerist playing again today so I invited him and together with Alquinn, we had some smooth trios. Was lagging and dropping frames as always, and raging and complaining, but I had fun nonetheless and we got there in the end

heh - no sweat, I don't really make a big deal out of my Origin ID vs my forum ID; I created the forum ID when Origin was still a gleam in the eye of the EADM... and the forum was the BSN. When EADM became Origin, it just made sense to use the same ID I use on Steam and similar to the one I use on PSN - I alternate between Dogsbody (CorpusCani) and Godsbody (CorpusDei) going back to Team Fortress Classic depending on whether I was playing defensive or offensive roles (and you could just change your name in the console).

 

I don't normally do platinum myself - I was just curious as to how much of a clusterf*** it would be

Yeah, before I went to the spawn, I took a quick pan to see where our puggernauts were and there they were, in the LZ. I facepalmed and it also didn't help that I ran out of gels on 9 or 10. Don't really remember. Should have used my op packs more. Didn't really help that I was doing an experimental build on my Trooper either. Goon rush is nothing to mess with, lol.

Just ran into Father of Pearl for a couple of matches.  Good games.  Not sure what that guy was trying to do with the pizza on Goddess though.  He made a beeline straight for the side that he could see that the enemies where spawning at...
