Had great games yesterday with a slew of contestants, including HardcoreSalmon, QU97, Slojack, Notorious PIG, kj's XBox edition (I've had her on PS3, so this was new, LOL), skinsatchel, and PATPATPATlol.

 

Interesting. I didn't think I was popular enough to have someone impersonating me. Just kidding Dragon. Great games!

I do lurk here but never posted before. Those were a couple of really ggs with the both of you and to get 10ws was awesome, first time I've ever had that in gold as well.

 

 

I was freaking out when we got to wave 10... I can usually be a good support player on a team and sometimes even actually be a bomb damage leader depending on my old lady hands.  But normally even if I'm dishing out a ton of damage I still die a lot; I'm just not that good at not getting shot.  I was out of oops packs by the end of devices and sooooo worried I was going to screw it up.

I'm as shocked as you are. I still can't explain how it happened. Wave 1 deaths are still my thing though.

I know, it happens to me too, sometimes I remember once I played a game on Clyde's? host, I think, and we got London Geth. I was playing the GT and... Didn't go down once. Others did, so we didn't get the 10 WS, but I only used 2 ops packs that match.

 

... And I have seriously no friggin' idea of how it happened

I so rarely get to play my huntress these days (needs moar stength amps) that when I do I get over-excited and inevitably die on the first wave (usually at the first spawn I approach).  I always make up for it later in the game but man... I drop like a rock right at the start.

Just got done running with SierraN2 and Klubbie GGs, and a shout out to TRON SWORDBANE who was rocking an N7 of 1 when he dropped into the lobby, he held on up to N7-18, which I think means he got 18x better than when he started

Was playing UUP with Scrubby Buckets and Kujo0116 dropped into our lobby for some quick easy games. GGs everyone

I finally spotted someone that posts here. Apparently I had to go on Gold for this happenstance to occur.

tjbearpig had the inconvenience to bounce into a gamer buddy's lobby, when the latter decided that he wanted to help me undergo the trial of fire. It was so inconvenient that he stuck around for four matches total. Bless your soul, man. You're magnificent.

 

I bet that the best part was when I was getting owned by Banshees in four consecutive waves, huh? It was my personal favourite. In the end I accepted my fate and started eating bbq chips. But yeah, I admire your patience. Thank you for sticking with us.

Decided to play a few matches and I ended up running into FatherOfPearl in the first gold match I jumped in.  I was a bit rusty so I didn't the higher scores I used to get (too much DA and GTA V).  It felt good to finally run into a fellow BSNer.

played a few games with Hot Hips and a couple of his buds. games went smoothly. rio/collectors/gold game was fun as hell with two asari with venom shotguns and two batarians. collectors didn't stand a chance. good games.

@Pearl: lol, I didn't die until wave 10 on London.  I was rolling all over the place, dodging bullets, Banshees, and Brutes.  

 

Glad I clutched the last objective on Ghost hazard.  Then again, I got cornered by Phantoms.    If I was playing my Destroyer or Kroguard I might have been able to clutch the wave.

 

The pugs were pretty substandard, though.

That's the first time I've ever had that in Gold.  Nifty. 

 

Was a little surprised you stayed in the lobby since there was a paladin.  Even more surprised you stayed in the game when we rolled geth. 

 

The lobby host's name seemed familiar... Baily also a BSNer?

And I didn't even get an invite?? I'm jelly. AND you got him a 10WS? I'm starting to think you're holding out on me... both of you. Our last game Boogz made me clutch wave 1. I was so traumatized that I haven't played a gold game since.

Scored my first trifecta. Ran into Baby Quarian, Argent Xero and TchOktChoky. It was not the time to try and get used to the Javelin. Everything died so quickly. Left after one...because I'm sure I wasn't the style of pugger they were looking for. Good quick game. Now I feel like I'm wondering the wasteland as I had time to post this while waiting for a lobby to ready up. Should have stayed at the oasis.

Well you called me a cheater, so in order to prove myself I made RNG give us a hack. On London/Collectors. Waves 6 & 10.

You should apologize. We could've had pizza for the 5th & 6th time in a row if you would've just went with it.
