Good games all. The Geth game went surprisingly smoothly I thought, but our trio got a little hairy on the condor slope for a moment there. Surprised we got out of that pickle, but it was fun!

Yeah, condor had me raging something fierce lol. I'd invited a friend but they were unable to join. I really dislike condor and when we got that, I wanted to quit lol

I don't think JJax is on here, but I know him since he's italian, played a bit with him when I was still a noob. He looked like a great player back then, but that was probably because I was a noob. However, he was a nice guy and that is probably still true

Played two good Golds with bevross, but left to reset since I was having frame issues despite nuking all the double crabs I could find. Pretty sure there was another BSNer in there too, playing on an alt (hammerfallgr), Claymore Hsol with impeccable RCing. Laughed pretty hard when they got a Frag killstreak on Wave 7.

 

Speaking of alts, is Archangel-Blade someone? N7 34, played an impressive Arc Pistol ACA considering how fresh their manifest is.

Great to play with you FOP.  Wish there were more players in gold pugs like you -- things seemed so much more relaxed with you wrecking everything (220k points to our measly 80k's!)  Good BSN players are a serious crutch.

Algae must have been tweaking between games, because I never saw mixed composition waves. Wave 11 may have had atlases and banshees, but my game froze up before I saw any enemies. Did you also feel that s/he slowed the enemies down a bit?

Well I stuck through a few matches, so assuming different compositions for each faction. Didn't notice if enemies were slowed down - apart from the usual getting stuck in spawns they all seemed normal.

Played some fun games with Safari Sith and my last game played with Baby Quarian and HusarX too. Would have stayed longer only my youngest started crying and when he's ill, only mommy will do!! So thanks for the games I had a blast, even though I was awful lol

The RNG gods threw everything they had at us and we kicked their ass. I even recall one of the Condor games having all 3 objectives be devices. Extracting fully on Condor in less than 19 minutes and still having 6 gels and missiles is something I don't get often  .

Is Algae22 on here? Just had 3 insane, insane modded games on giant - insane as in hundreds of enemies every wave, every enemy type. Wave 1 match 1, phantoms, wave 2, brutes, etc.

 

The geth prime wave was... scary. The husk and guardian escort combo... deadly. The invisible wave... wait, I don't know what the **** the enemy was on there, but I'm guessing dragoons? The extraction... Please can I suicide with a cobra now?

 

Also shout out to NylonAngel - name seems familiar, they stuck through the second two.

 

Blue_Sienna and chris8977 in the first match. Yoelkage and then mylkoo in the second. No idea if any of them are on here, but if they are, good games.

 

I'm sorry I don't use a mic, so couldn't properly communicate - but just to let you know, I was doubled up with laughter most of the time. I'm DelanynderN7 - played shaman, fury (fail tbh), and novaguard (should have done this from the start - cryo explosions (IV ammo) with charge/nova were just beautiful).

 

Cheers for the games, that totally made my night.

Was looking for U/U/G and when I joined by the end of wave one, some Phantoms said Hello!  

Had to check 3 times, if I was accidently thrown into Platinum. When I realized what was going on I first wanted to leave but stayed for the experience and

decided that my Slasher with Lift Grenades, Grenade Gear and 6 Thermal Clip Packs could be of some use for the team

Good team, lot of fun, good fight! I had to leave after the first game for a cold beer to cool down.

Good game. Cerberus is fun, except turrets. They are quite annoying when playing with Vanguards. Cerberus is your favorite enemy or you just find them the easiest?

Ah hell, I just saw this post. Cerberus is my favourite enemy with the TSent. I am new to Gold, so I am taking slow steps to the conquering of the U/U/G with fixed setups. This is one of them, TSent against Cerberus. I don't know why, but I seem to be able to handle them better. I reached the point that I survive for several consecutive waves, so I'd say that this is an achievement. My fight or flight instinct is getting improved. For Reapers I play with the Asari Valkyrie, although I think that she'd also be good for Geth, with the Drain evo of AF.

 

Geth is the easiest enemy for me. They are less elusive, they don't sync me and I can usually tell when a Hunter is about to flank me. As long as I stay on the move, there won't be an amassing of forces on my bum. So yeah, I can work with that.

It's fair to say he was having connection problems last night.  I landed in his lobby and we proceeded to have 3 hilarious games due to EA/PS3 madness.

 

He was using a Justicar/Venom (I assume thanks to that troll thread) so I switched from my little Volus Engie to a Valkyrie in a vain attempt to synergise and perhaps manage half his score.  I failed, as usual, but it was total annihilation of Cerberus on White.

 

He switched to his Drellguard and we got Reapers on Goddess.  I knew from wave 1 that we mightn't make it through because of frame-drop, and I had no option but to quit on wave 8 as my PS3 really seemed on the verge of a hard freeze.  I somehow made it back into the game for extraction (I didn't know you could send an invite while the game was in progress) and spent the last 15 seconds in the extraction zone sliding all over the place, pretty much proving that Asaris are invincible due to their dodge - it doesn't matter if you have no shields when the enemy can't get a lock on you. I think I provided some entertainment for those in spectator mode, and managed to bank those all important extraction credits!

 

Last attempt was Geth/Reactor, TMB as a GE and me as a HE.  I had to gel a couple of times on wave 2, getting stunlocked from every direction, but the game was smooth otherwise until he lost connection.  If I'd known how to invite him back I would've, but I went on to solo waves 8 and 9 without any problems, and then was joined on wave 10 by a full squad.  The mission successful screen was very funny, as I'd doubled up on medals and had 10 while the rest of the team managed 4 between them.  I even took a photo of the screen in case I ever want to pretend I'm brilliant

Stumbled on Cirvante when I was running my daily Golds with a buddy of mine. We must have done something wrong though, because they left in the middle of the match. Or disconnected.

 

The lag must have been pissing me off. It's the number one reason for why I quit matches nowadays.
