Marksmad landed in my lobby just now. gg, hope the lag wasn't too bad. Had a guy ragequit an earlier game because of it (or at least so he claimed).

 

I didn't notice any significant lag, your host normally works for me just fine, which gives the lie to the forum myth that lag is down to geo-separation.

 

Was a great game, sorry for bleeding out on wave 4, I was gonna gel but then you arrived and so I didn't, but then you got bounced and I ran out of time. At least I didn't go down on wave 1, my signature move. Someone else did though! 

 

I did have to laugh at the Collector cheating sometimes. I was in the blue orb control room for a minute or so, walked out the back door and jst before I got to the corner, a bunch of nades from the Scion in the other control tower landed at my feet. It knew I was going there about the same time I did, despite not being able to see me till after the nades landed.

 

Thanks for the game, it's always nice playing with you.

Upper PUG'd into my lobby this afternoon, as a DA, so I naturally switched to the DV- at the LZ, much cluster grenading/venom shotgunning/cobra missiling occurred, which obviously left the other two pugs somewhat... befuddled. And then, 100% asskicking, drell-style- spawns just disappeared. Next was a good fury/valkyrie game on Glacier, then what started as a Vorcha brother duo (Sol and Sent) on Glacier ended up lagging the hell out and being the last game. I've never had framerate drops like that on normal glacier (and I had only played glacier and white prior to that), so it must've been all the Flamer, FE's, and Bloodlust- too much Vorcha for the ps3 to handle. 

 

Awesome games buddy. If only all random games were that fun.

Yea me too, i'd never experienced frame drops on glacier till that game. I actually thought you set the vorcha game on private as we spent almost half the game duoing. Am glad we were able to perform some fun vorcha rituals, especially the vorcha melee celebration, heavy-meleeing (sacrificing) banshees to death, before the lag kicked in

Randomly joined a GiP on Glacier with Hartelijk, turned out to be Reapers Plat. The game was not exactly like I was expecting....

 

After a while, DemiserofD spawned in as a Batarian, got jumped and humped, lfeft, came back again a wave later with the same result, and left again. Then we were joined by the inimitable RopeDrink, who took it all in stride and Arc naded everything. Including me.  

 

Thanks Hartelijk for organising the great games. Soon again I hope.

More than once when I was soloing waiting for a friend to join a game, I've kited the last husk/a-bomb for... well, longer than I care to admit (suffice to say), just to be able to lead them to the LZ when the person joins and watch them get that friendly greeting.

Met Toptrog in Geth gold Vancouver. I landed in wave 5 and you few rounds later. Nice to see someone who knows how to use hammer. I enjoyed doublehammering those Primes.

Just bumped into Boogi3man and ended up on Gold/Rio/Reapers, but he ragequit around Wave 8 or 9

Also, I dropped into Andy_3_913's GiP (Glacier Collectors) but we won't mention that ever again.

I think I've gone at least 10 straight without seeing Collectors and have been getting mostly Cerb all week. It's gotten to the point (again) where I'm happily expending rockets to take out individual turrets.

 

Back to the topic: Ran into Jon-IRL again for some matches. I never thought I'd type the following, but -- that wave 10 London Geth hack was fun.

Well if you don't mind helping me knock out a few gold rounds for map mastery, I could always preset to collectors. I use to hate them, but now they're my second favorite behind the reapers.

Any maps you absolutely refuse? I was thinking London, Dagger, Jade, or Ghost. They're the closest I have to being done besides reactor which is at the point of surviving wave 1 and I'm good.
