Oh people need to learn to stay away from the LZ on white vs Cerberus. Especially the hazard variant.

Quoted for truth. When people are dying up there (with the inevitable turret gangbang), I don't even try to go revive them. If you were stupid enough to go play around out there in the first place, its no worse than you deserve.

Ran into Iggy. Unfortunately, there was a Vorcha running around spamming flamer over my shoulder all ****** game.

Oh god. I thought that flamer guy was a decent team player... until he started blocking my view with his stupid flamer power and making it a ****** to prime/detonate.

To be fair to him/her, he seemed fairly new and may not have realised how annoying it is. Not everyone detests flamer as much as I do.

Bumped into akots and slaughterback for a few fun games. Think I've seen them here.

I was running a solo on Silver Collectors Glacier with the zombie mod running, just trying to get some good explosions on film, and captainqueerky ninja joined with a sniper GI. Probably one of the worst possessible kits to bring to that scenario, but he stuck it out and we made extraction.

Good games, slaughterback's host is actually rather nice. For me on a good day, lag on his hosts almost exactly matches the delay in crusader hitting. It works like an aim fix and crusader actually hits exactly where it is aimed.

Good games with marksmad_N7, Swoop_IM, Archangel1050, laxmike123, grailseeker91 and others whose nicks I can't remember (sorry!) yesterday.  My first long private session with BSNers.  Having been living in PUGland for my first month, I must say, finding an experienced and tolerant, supportive crew with constant open mic communication makes for a helluva lot more fun and better games (when we weren't deliberately goofing off, heh).  I'll still be able to appreciate PUGs, but nothing beats a known crew.  Was great fun, guys/gals, thanks for having me.  Volus platinum squad was frikkin hilarious.  Learned a lot too; always good.

Did you know there's a fix for the Crusader's delay, that makes it hit immediately?

I don't think this fix works well off host. Sometimes it does, sometimes it does not aka turian stability. I've had a game yesterday with host in Russia, another player in Thailand, me on East coast, and fourth player was in UK. Lag was fearsome, around 500 msec, but crusader hit everything as aimed, no fix needed. ME3 matchmaking is legendary. I'm experimenting with ME pinger recently and it is very weird. Also, it would be nice if more people would run it and post statistics somewhere. Someting like host in a village in Poland, three other players in US, powers worked, lag 800 msec (highest ping value), extraction in 17 minutes, something else. I guess, people are used to huge lag so well, it does not matter unless you actually start teleporting or massively glitching. There is one problem with pinger utility. Sometimes, it either cannot ping, sometimes gives wrong location but ping itself is quite accurate and host can always be pinged. I think, not sure, it also pings Bioware servers and store when you are alone in the lobby or buying packs in main MP menu.

TLDR, if lag is from 200 msec to 300 msec and powers work reliably, crusader frequently hits as aimed, no fix needed and fix would actually mess it up.

Thanks for the mention. I had a lot of laughs during the couple of games we had, and you guys are very patient to put up with my appalling lack of skill. So thanks for games and laughs as well.

The fix works 100% off host, save the normal failure rate of this game. It applies to calculations made well before the host-client interactions, in dunvi's words.

Glad you joined us.  Heh, I didn't notice any lack of skill, was too busy trying to stay alive and contribute to the effort at least a little.  I do OK with Bonk the Kroguard because he's--a Krogan.  On Silver and up, any other class except for maybe 867-5309 (Geth Flamer) and I'm embarrassed to play with anyone I know.

Join us whenever you like.  I need to remember to make myself visible on O.

LegionEffect?

I don't think I've seen them post but I played with them multiple times before and they know how to handle themselves. Also they do the whole start of the match shabang of removing the missile launcher, HM between waves and all that.

Sure, almost every fix is applied before the host-client interactions on the client. In my limited experience, crusader fix does not work for me in a laggy game and 300 msec lag is quite laggy as normal lag is less than 150 msec. While without the fix, crusader hits quite well. I can apply the fix and adjust my shots for lag or don't apply the fix and don't adjust for lag.

I'd rather keep my fixed Crusader than rely on the occasional magically laggy host to simultaneously fix one broken weapon and break all my other working weapons.

Ran into BaileyTFL and jaganshihieiyyh today, dropping into games in progress for both. In Jaganshihieiyyh case I was about to leave as it was wave 5 with apparently only one player, when I realised I recognised the name and decided to stay. I say apparently as it turned out there were two invisible (to me) pugs.

Yeah that started out with 4 people but one got "waiting for other players," the host was his friend so he quit, and the other guy left with him... leaving me to solo. But people joined pretty quick and I was glad to see you pop in again. I don't know if something got screwed up with the host migration and all the quits and joins, or if you just had a poor connection to one/both of the other guys. I didn't realize that it was you who had the issue as I figured it was one of those who left immediately in the lobby. Hope everything was okay after.

Was playing plat today with Evn (SupremeCognito) and Around_7_people when they disconnected making it onto an effective pug. I had to solo the first couple of waves which didn't suck too much since it was Reapers Dagger. Grenade drops sucked though...

Around wave 8 J7 dropped into my lobby, though at that point Ps3 memleak was starting to lag the match a bit. Extraction was a bit messy but things were pretty good overall for the rough start and end.

How do you guys run into BSNers so much? I almost never do. There must be like...22 of us on PS3.
