N7_SP3CTR3 (x2), TheNightSlasher, and me teamed up for some interesting matches - with very interesting waves. Good job, guys!
So you beat the joining bug? That's great.

Just with them, yes
I'm not getting my hopes up, just yet. But we could try again, right?

Naturally we shall try again. Can't let the Reapers win that easily.
I had to disable Origin In Game because it did weird things to the lobby and ingame store. Consequently I also removed everyone from my friendslist because I can't be invited nor can I invite others and I don't want people to wait for me when I won't even receive a message.
It doesn't change much though. I've never seen many BSNers around although there are quite a lot good PUGs I run into who aren't on BSN (to my knowledge).

Can't say I'm looking forward to the joys of Origin matchmaking.
Bumped into 21T09 earlier for a couple of smooth games. On our third game, however, the server couldn't handle the style that is a Tsol and Tsent team and decided to disconnect me on wave 7 or 8. Shame, but it was fun while it lasted. Also bumped into o-starfighter-o and TalizorahForever both of which I don't recall seeing post here but they showed many BSNer signs: alt banners, melee greetings, sensible loadouts and competent in game. Good times.
Yeah good games! Fun fact, we promptly wiped on wave 9 after your disconnection! ![]()

Shady OP Biovar pls nerf.

BTW: has anyone ever found out what is causing the endless joining screen? I tried to join two games of yours yesterday, one time I got that endless joining screen, the second time it functioned for that London/Collectors game. ![]()

All kinds of things can seemingly cause this issue, but the most common issue is the fact that people's routers aren't compatibel with each other. Then, you end up opening certain ports. This either works, or not. Another thing that seems to cause this issue, is when one person has the béta installed, and the other person hasn't.
I'm sure I've played with some of you before on XBox, but I am a forum lurker so no one would know me. Anyway, I'm coming out of my lurk mode for a moment to say hello. The pugs I've done this weekend were all successful Plat matches. So good job guys!

Functioned is not a word one often finds together with London/Collectors, lol!
I would have explained more but you're separated from me by the beta, and most of my friends are not.

The beta certainly has made the problem more widespread.
Also, the joining screen needs a cancel button, Biovar pls.

I've played with you on Xbox. You will remember me as the most awful scrub you ever played with. Feel free to add me if you need a fourth to bleed out any time.

The culprit is usually one or more players with a moderate or higher NAT setting, but there are other router and connection-related issues that can cause the problem.
For PC players, the most effective solutions are to open specific ports (there's a thread in the Resource Library that explains it) or change the NAT settings on the router to "Low" (which is not always an option for everyone.)
For console players, the easiest solution is to set up a DMZ on the console (or lower the NAT setting, if possible.) This needs to be done through the router itself, but the specific menu/setting selections will vary depending on make/model of router.

This is true. Here is how to do it:

One of those got synced, we lost deals huh?
N7-Presentiae joined my Lobby with their Shadow while i was discovering the Drell Assassin. Good game (reactor/something)
.
Just bumped into DaemionMoadrin who I didn't realise was a BSN'er until I just saw his name in another thread; think he was using a TSol and the host was a Russian using a Ghost... so I went TSent to continue the Turian theme. Slightly laggy with the Russian host and my Tsent specced for "I f*cking hate Cerberus and Geth" (Falcon + Disruptor ammo - it's a stagger/vengeance build) so of course the game gives us Collectors ![]()
Fairly straightforward game in the end though... GG and that.

I think it was reapers. I was giving a sniper build a go to mix things up. Good game!
LadyMK is from here? Did some Plat runs with my buddy ReptiloidGod with her/him. Was pretty nice to play with ya. XD
Just had three fun games with Mgamerz, Akots and Zippy<insert numbers here>. Mgamerz' extra-large Jugg became an extra-small Jugg towards the end of the second match, and it was amusing to watch the wee guy force-choke enemies three times his size. Also, low-gravity on Dagger makes pull / lash / acolyte / cluster grenades even more fun than usual.

I had to completely disable my NAT,and add the ports.I haven't had any issues since doing that.It was getting ridiculously hard for some of my friends to join my lobby, and for me to join others.
I actually wrote a post pointing out that there's something simpler to try before resorting to router tinkering.

Good games! Mgamerz apparently had annihilation field-barrier-tech armor and something else on his jug but I couldn't see them and they were not in kill feed. He also got an oversized typhoon and I finally spotted siege pulses hidden inside the pocket. Cooldown-less drones on human engineers made a mince meat of poor geth in the second game. In the third game, I tried unsuccessfully for probably half the game to jump on the railings from the side ladder on dagger and then watched phantoms playing with the drone while they were lashed into orbit. The drone did not follow and actually stopped teasing them while they were flying. ![]()
Two things are somewhat unclear to me. First, why it is not possible to gel while you are already dead but the body has not been landed yet? I'm talking mainly about weightlessness mod. Second, how far up hate surfing punch will take a batarian? It requires either playing batarian with lash or coordination of lash cast by somebody else with batarian melee. Also, I'm curious whether submission net will stop the lashed/pulled mooks flying?

Of course, on at least one occasion a prime's cooldown-less drone single-dronededly(?) killed three of us before the fourth finally killed it and rezzed us. Still worth it.

This must be done, and recorded. Hate-surf? More like hate-orbit.
I bumped into Rane, but was disconnected before the beginning of the match. It was the third time consecutively so I restarted my system after that. I hope you got a good game with the other PUGs.
