He's got a higher N7 than me. I was playing Golds with the predator lvl 3 and doing just fine and dandy.

Then I put the PC to sleep and went pugging on the dark side Xbox and landed on Vancouver in a game v. Collectors with RustyBuckets as Eagle TSol, a GT who was host, and a Krogan. My Talon Phoenix Vanguard had a tough time, unable to use powers half the game and most of the enemy units seemingly unaffected by any powers I could muster.

 

Now here's the really INTERESTING PART: it's that on wave 10 I was knocked down by a Praetorian at the top of the long stairs/ramp that point towards the lower LZ. And fell INSIDE the slatted metal structure next to the ramp/stairs. When I woke up at the start of wave 11, I could see where my team were by the blue figures, but could not leave the structure to join them. (I tried to find a way out but there wasn't one.) They had to leave without me.

 

I wondered how you got in there. I mean, I guessed it was accidental. It was quite funny watching the praetorians on extraction moving up and down the ramp trying to work out how to get to you.

 

That game had a few memorable moments- I remember on an early wave I turned around to see you grappling with a possessed abomination behind me, and it exploded taking us both down. I assume someone shot it, which is completely unacceptable behaviour as it didn't give me enough time to back off and shoot it myself.

i think I fell down there as I was being revived. The Praetorians were actually able to hit me with their melee if I was close to the wall. However, I had piercing on the Talon so I was able to kill two of them through the wall by standing in the centre of the structure.

 

I remember that A-bomb, and I recall being very surprised as I went down and checked the killfeed that it wasn't you who had shot it

It wasn't a PUG, but it was fun playing a Cain Mine spam game with KP the other day

I was left in a game on Rio when the host and everyone else left. Then b00g13man joined and I was so happy, I got on the mic to say how glad I was to not be playing anything with a flamer. Then he left.

I had SackedJedi jump in on W7 or W8 a couple days back, while I was carrying a couple of pugs. I'm glad he stuck around, made things a lot easier.

I was trying to make a big effort so you'd realise I'm now only 99% pure scrub - also, too dumb to quit  

 

Also also, today I pugged my Mantis HI into Giant Hazard Collectors Gold with some mostly decent players. Even so, we got stomped on W8 because invincible Captains. After the game, one of them sent me mail. I assumed it was the usual hatemail, but when I read it  I was surprised because it asked if I was the guy from BSN, and s/he said that they enjoy reading my posts. Two surprises in one message, haha.

Bumped into Patersonski for a preset Reapers/FBW/gold. Pater was play a Smashguard so I switched to a Smashbro. Needless to say, many Rippas got smashed.

Hey I just stumbled across this (2 months later) so thanks for the mention! I remember that game well b/c I've never seen anyone tear it up with the smashdept like that. I think you scored more than the other three of us combined. Inspired, I tried that kit for the first time the next day but the results were--let's just say; not quite so "spectacular". I love the Smashguard but have been playing the Drell Vanguard recently. Trying to work in max number of Kung Fu kicks in between grenade spam and Raider-to-the-face. Separately and WRT a previous convo I loved Metro 2033 and am halfway thru Last Light. Hope you're enjoying Redux as well.

Had some really good games with Daxamite, Rusty Buckets ans Ark. All sub 20s except out all Volus (Volii?) Game but still fun. Teamkills all around!

Had a pretty good round with FTL on Rio. I was just about to get gutted by a phantom until you blew her head off. Nice save!

 

Yeah good game, I recorded that as well, I think I will upload that game in glorious 60 fps, so that you can view that moment from my perspective.

Ran into Icebaker (Evil Justicar) yesterday and stayed to play. Unfortunately, my internet connection wasn't co-operating, and I had some epic lag and had to quit.

I just figured out that almost all of my connection issues were due to my new router, not the EA servers. My buddy had even worse issues: same router.

Decided to have one last game for the night, joined up with planehazza and thenightslasher for jade/reaper/gold

 

Very good game.

 

And I was the strongest player, holding everyone else up off the bottom of the scoretable

joined the same game in progress with Aw-FC , with my Shuriken GI. Not so smooth.

Then I landed in Aetika's game on reactor gold cerb (i think), fun game even if nobody was cremated

 

I m pretty dispaointed 2 gold games and one plat werent enough for the shuriken challenge
