Just dropped into PATPATPATlol's lobby with a KroSol/Graal, he and whoever he was with also had Krogans. My body was ready! 

 

When I went to put the customary [x] on him to say hello, it never showed up. Then it said "connecting" for a sec, and I got dc'd

ah! i figured something like that happened. that or you got stuck at 'waiting for other players..' sorry you got dc'd. i was excited because you were playing a krogan and my brother and i were krogan as well. krogan parties are so much fun. oh well, maybe we'll bump into each other again soon........with krogans.

At the current moment, I'm in a lobby with justinman114 who I believe is also a BSNer. That's 3 in one day, plus DanDCD last night is 4 in the last 24 hours. I hadn't run into 4 BSNers in the last 3 months.

I've been posting and I played on console today for the first time in weeks.

 

My longest streak was about 5 months without playing but still posting

FasterThanFTL and Marksmad teamed up with me for some fun action. Good games, guys. That Reactor game was tough, but fun.

The high point of the Reactor game for me was being able to spectate two pretty awesome Black Widow GIs

 

A plus point was that I only got Banshee hugged once the entire game, not bad for a Destroyer really....

 

The low point was bleeding out with 3 seconds on the extraction timer, about 3 metres from the EZ, with zero gel.

Also, I was gonna quit for the evening but was pulled into a couple games with SabreRacer, Aetika, and Smehur. Two engineers and two Asari gave the Reapers a kicking they would remember - if they weren't all dead.

DrChcknwng suggested a game to me, so I hosted and we were lucky enough to find panda5onix online. I opened the last slot and Zig(zagzug) dropped in. We had two fun and extremely violent games. Chcknwng *may* have blown up certain team members with A-bombs during the first game....

 

Interestingly, the games were (almost - sorry Chcknwng!) lag free, despite the team members each being on a separate continent.

Good to hear you had a lot of fun. The Black Widow is one of my go-to kits, and I usually do well with it. From a scoring stand-point, I was doing fine; however, I dropped waaaaay too much for my taste. I clearly had the proverbial blinders on. But it was crazy fun.

Next time, me and FasterThanFTL should both use Spitfire AIUs. Spectate that! It's well worth it.

It's true, but someone who plays at my level (ground level, as Andy_3_etc would say) needs every scrap of shields they can get.

 

Also, it helps me see where you're lying so I can come pick you up

But full passives and CMIV is basement level.  I admit that Stronghold Package is my crutch with many classes.  Hunter mode gives you speed, damage and vision so you are less likely to need your shields.  

 

Plus you can you know................ Turn it off, if you reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly need to have more shields.

 

I didn't use HM early on (in my loooooooooooooong Bronze career), not so much because of the shields mostly due to being unable to see the objective marker for half the wave
