We play 3 games plat together before few days ago if i remember correctly you use TGI BW and i use DI BW for all sniper infiltrator class for last games in giant, ggs btw.

Best plat games i played so far (IIRC the second game on glacier took only 17 minutes)

I almost felt sorry for our pugs, except for that geth. I'm glad we demonstrated quarian superiority to it, especially the white hazard/ bugs round when you played Venom/QMI and I was vanilla Widow/QFI.

Amazing that there were no freezes despite two collector games without a reset. I only got some framerate drop on the second one, but fortunately, Claymore doesn't need frames to squash bugs

I was in an abysmal plat pug on Dagger in which the other three players raged wave 1 after getting repetitively downed and eventually synced (1 bled out after getting downed for the second time). I finished the wave with little difficulty, and - thankfully - two new pugs joined start of wave 2.

 

My thankfulness was short lived, however, as wave 2 started out with both pugs getting synced after only ~ 30 sec in. Soloing wave 2, I resigned myself to the fact that this could be a LONG game.

 

I then get a message from PurpGuy, the contents of which were most intriguing: it would seem that the slang term "Gooball(s)," as used when visualizing/describing the Collector Adept's Dark Sphere power, is entirely inappropriate and thus grounds for getting permabanned  .

 

Yes, you read correctly. Reapers won't be hearing "suck my goob*lls!" before getting blasted by one of Purp's Dark Spheres anytime soon (at least on the forums, anyway  )

 

How did this happen? Why has this come to pass? Is there another way I can rephrase the same question? The answer is both simple and quite complicated, but suffice it to say that DAMP is a mess (if you haven't heard) and that there are many who're quite unhappy about it. Some are more vocal than others, and others are more... vengeful than some

 

Anyway, I expect that the ban will be appealed and that we will be seeing Purp again soon (it was his *first* violation - if you can, indeed, call an "inappropriate profile pic" that has stood for more than a year a violation), albeit with perhaps a little more wear and tear (prison does that to a person, I'm told ) 

 

 

Back OT: I'm happy to report the game went better upon Purp's arrival (he passed up the pugs in 4 short waves, no less), and that while he might be on a vacation from the forums for awhile, he can certainly still play.

Well, now I've pugged (definitely) into two people from BSN. Thanks for the game, sorry I had to bounce out after the one. Great work with a weird combo (FHE w/ Kishock of all things)!

I dropped into a UUS lobby with KarmillaStrife, who is on my FL so I assume he/she BSN's. We got Giant/Cerberus and everybody extracted. Sorry I had to leave after 1 game.

In other news I was pugging and got a really nasty wave 3 devices. I think there was 3 or 4 banshees and 2 geth rocket troopers and 2 dragoons. Maybe an engineer.

 

It went pretty bad. After that it went well.

Didn't realize they were a BSN'er, I believe I had a few (good) games with them just recently as well.

I imagine it might be a bit slow for your liking  , but it is definitely fun.  I was using cryo ammo, because somebody has to, with Incinerate specced for chilled damage, along with a fully evolved SubNet.  Mooks don't stand much of a chance, generally, and as has been discussed in other threads recently, the Kishok is arguably the most fun gun in the game.  Boiiiinnnngg.  And the no-hipfire penalty is very handy at times against the bigger bosses.

This convinced me to try a plat solo with your setup and it was really enjoyable - it's funny watching Banshees stroll around with half a dozen harpoons stuck in their heads.
But it was very slow like you mentioned - one of my slowest ever actually. Using the Kishock to kill an Atlas on a kit that can't boost weapon damage or debuff really shows how much I normally abuse the double/triple hit canopy.

Played a few games with marksmad yesterday, while it was laggy and I hate Vancouver (sorry ), it was still fun. I also played with MarcinTM, not s ure if he/she is a BSNer, but very solid player. 

And off-topic, I still end up playing with many <120 N7 players, and I don't discriminate against less-skilled players, but I don't tolerate not using gels when needed and skipping out on objectives to "collect kills".  (I had a guy "sniping" literally 15 feet away from the hack circle yesterday on Dagger, while we burned up 4 medigels and rockets each to complete the hack as we were being overrun with everything on W10.

Bad luck about the lag. Don't know what caused it, probably one of the other players. I've hosted a lag free game with each player on a different continent, so I'm confident that my connection is stable

 

I would normally never preset the map, but I reached a point yesterday where I needed 19 Gold waves on Vancouver to make Map Mastery roll over. They were pretty good games from my point of view and you stomped stuff pretty effectively, lag or no lag

 

As far as low N7/CP players, if we are all gonna be tough BSNers about it we need to be willing to carry some of them and set a good example for how to play. So get out there and nuke those spawns, kids!
