Bumped into DisturbedPsic0 last night for a brief game of Geth destruction in Vancouver.  Sorry I couldn't stay, it was getting pretty late for me, but was a good run.

UUGing this morning I landed in Palestine's lobby, with Ninjas n Guns and VengefulAphid. We got Ghost Reapers which was easy but slow, then Palestine switched up to Plat and we got Reactor Cerb. Aphid got DC'd midgame but we finished the game easily enough as a trio.

....aaaaaand then I landed in a GIP on about wave 5, with HurriedThrone50, Giant/Geth. He stomped everything as usual, leaving very little for me to do.

Yeah gg. I was working on siege pulse points for my tech mastery. Vancouver is one of the worst maps for the Jugg, it took me forever to get LOS on anything.

I'm very glad to say that I now know for sure that Quarian Master Race doesn't just talk the talk.

 

Not strictly pugs in the true sense, as we started as a duo for most of our games.  Totally trolled by PSN/EA, we got Collectors twice in a row (including Condor!), then lost connection on arrival, and got wfop, and also had the indignity of being joined by two different Juggernauts.

 

I witnessed great use of all the Quarians (bar the QME) while I stuck to my QFE with Arc Pistol.  I remember 4 games vividly, but I have a feeling there might have been a second match against Geth that went so fast I've forgotten any details.  

 

Great play, great fun, looking forward to doing it again.  Oh yeah, and nice use of Krogan weaponry on your QFE!

Good games despite the issues! You are certainly not to shabby with the very quarian QFE-Arc pistol combo, either.  The Giant-Geth game where I used Widow QFI and we had a Paladin pug lasted like 18 minutes, despite us being burdened with the typical puggernaut. 

Are you talking about Mala, my Claymore QFE? I think in ME2 lore it is actually a human weapon that they gave to krogan because it was too awesome for their own weak physiology. Either way, this game lacks enough quarian weapons(3-4 depending on whether you think M-98 Widow is quarian. Protip: it is), and of the one shotgun it does have (Reegar), I can't use it unless there are tryhards in the lobby without being a bit embarrased. Besides, she rocks that claymoar better than anyone .

If you want to complain about that, what about my Kishock (Batarian) QFI, and Saber (Human) Marksman, both of which you witnessed?

Sorry.... (not really) I'm trying to complete all challenges and most of the ones I have left are for vanguard character waves, and there's only one way I know to play vanguards  . 

 

GG anyway, until wave 9 that is, I'm not sure what happened but I think I used 4 gels that wave and so was very happy when targets were on wave 10. The hate was real and so were the missiles  .

Don't know if they are from around here, but I caught several games with N7_DarkStar and Haxn14. In 4 or 5 games we had Glacier Hazard twice, cleared it for 15:00 and 19:00 minutes respectively. Sadly I had severe lag and my Drelldept died a lot on that Giant Hazard/Geth game, but otherwise we were quite efficient.

About to search for a game, got message from Carpo. Started a party, invited Brickyracer as well, BioticPulse ninja-joined and suddenly we had a full team

 

We played 4 games, all successful bar the wave 8 wipe vs Rippaz on Glacier. The other were Dagger Hazard Collectors, Ghost Hazard Cerb, Giant Hazard Collectors. Clearly the game was trying to kill us all!

 

Poor Capo hasn't played since the game was new. He had the joy of being introduced to hazard maps, Collectors, and Dragoons for the first time, all within the space of an hour.  

 

Star of the day was Bricky, who clutched wave 8 vs Cerb when Capo was downed and stomped by Dragoons, BioticPulse was shanked, and I was downed by a Phantom and Atlas stomped. She followed this up by topscoring, which measn that she officially has to carry not only scrubby moi, but also BioticPulse. In perpetuity, I believe (maybe Cato would confirm the wording of the rule here?)  

 

The downer was Cobra production quality control has gone down, out of 5 I fired in the Ghost Hazard game, 2 were duds that sailed through the floor without doing any damage at all.

 

Great time, all. I'm still laughing intermittently.
