Just had a fun but rather laggy game with Andy_3_913 and Dovakiin_N7.  It was a pleasure to see another Batarian Sentinel on the field.  I can count the number of times I have seen 2 Batarian Sentinels on the fingers of one hand.  The Collectors did not stand a chance!

 

(Submission ) netted Collectors everywhere. :-). It was fun. How do you Adas people? That gun feels underwhelming. Probably because I put warm ammo ion it.

BTW i was other Batsent. I actually like him.

I find the Adas rather low DPS but excellent for staggering and priming.  Works well with the Juggy - Adas with Disruptor ammo to prime and Siege Pulse to detonate tech burst.

Incindiary is best on the Adas, works well on the human engineer.

Met rlro in a host he was hosting last night. Given the last experience, I decided I'd put my best lag resistant kit and try to endure the lag. I was pretty confident in my ability to say **** 500 ms of ping with the destroyer, but I was wrong, oh sooooo wrong. Where the hell are you hosting from man, Mars!? I haven't lagged that much ever since RJ fixed his internetz XD I held on until wave 6, by which I was out of all consumables and I just rage quit again XD

Sorry man, I was really hoping I could put up with it. Next time I bump into your lobby, you'll know that it's nothing personal when I get the **** out XD

Played with frank_is_crank today. Unfortunately, my lvl 12 or 13 Cabal just couldn't stay alive for more than 30 seconds without maxed Biotic Focus (and no Poison Strike whatsoever). Fortunately, Frank managed to carry despite all my efforts to distract him by going down twice a minute.

Oh, and I've had Raider so I could barely do any damage. Shotguns suck in ME3 MP.

 

P. S. The suffering might not have been in vain since I may have found a great way to play Cabal. For the next game I kept Raider, maxed Biotic Focus, and took Poison Strike to 3. And I actually used it in combat, which I never did before. The setup and loadout needs some tuning, but it really worked! And Raider can do some damage between strikes (since I'm always in close range).

I can almost hear its roar already.

Raider is OK on Turians with full stability bonus build, and you have to be off-host for it to shine with the 3 shots bug. Anyway, the only really good shotgun is Reegar, and only because it's kinda broken. I strongly prefer assault rifles or pistols. But this Cabal build I'm working on can actually make shotguns work, I think.

Honestly though. You are dead wrong. Raider is fantastic. I can foresee you yourself complaining about shortage of Shotgun ammo. Very soon. :-)

Yes, I actually ran out of ammo a fair number of times in just 2 games. Probably because I need that many shots to kill anything bigger than a Marauder or Dragoon.

That is not what I am saying. You would have 100+ Sniper  and Assault rifile 3 ammo and 50+ pistol and smg 3 ammo and < 10 Shotgun3 ammo.

If shotguns sucked, this won't be happening to most people here.

Actually, I barely got 1 Shotgun damage amplifier in 2 weeks. I have a class that can burn all of them in a day - AIU - but the problem is I don't get any in the first place. No AR amplifiers, either (and 80%, if not 90%, of my classes use AR as a primary damage source. Yey for Harrier and Lancer).

Yeah I had a bit of connection nonsense too. Very competent team though so I stuck with it. Good to play with you again & thanks for scraping me up off the floor a bunch of times.

My man, seriously... learn to reload cancel. I was of the same opinion like you are. Used Katana, Scimitar, Eviscerator solely because they were lightweight and therefore useful for casters. And while I still think all those three are great shotties(Katana GI is just about the most awesome and fun setup I ever had privilege of trying and all five of my silver solos were with Eviscerator asariguard), they don't hold the candle to Raider and Claymore.

 

Once you try the unholy terror that is Raider Valkyrie, you never go back.
