Including Platinum/Reactor/Cerberus as the last. Which wasn't quite as bad as I thought it would be.

I did reload cancel. Unless you have a spammable ability with < 2s cooldown, it doesn't make much difference.

I don't know what you played. There are two kits I use Raider with regularly... Valkyrie and brawler vanguard. Both of them absolutely murder everything in their way, in no small way because of Raider and because of Raider, their cooldowns are nothing to write home about. And seeing Raider is just about one of the most damaging shotties in the game, any kit should be able to do it.

My second favourite setup and one that actually got me to wave ten of golden solo Forgot to mention that one. Mea culpa.

Just how close were you to these enemies when using the Raider?

I love that shotgun, but it is basically a CQC weapon (I use it on the Batarian Soldier, so this is often literally the case - baseball bat to the face for everyone) on any class without accuracy bonuses.   You want to basically be in the enemy's face before firing, so it's a great fit for the Batsol, Batguard, Valkyrie etc.  The other thing to keep in mind is that it's spread is different from other shotguns.  Most shotties use an X spread, whereas the Raider is closer to an O or oval.  If you're going for headshots (like you should be), this difference in spread can catch people out.

I ran into ryncol_addict earlier today while levelling my sentinels. You don't see a kishock SE that often. Also your Krogan with the bat gauntlet was funny to watch at. Good games :-)

Landed in a lobby with the one and only IAI20 whatever his damn name is. Didnt run after I showed up so I put a kick on him. Few minutes later he bailed. Next lobby was a jade reaper game with AGCeyx runnin a krolord. Using fury without an adrenalin mod felt weird. GG

DaemionMoadrin joined a PUG with me on Dagger Hazard v Geth, then fell into my Goddess Reapers lobby where I got picked up and made him clutch w8, followed by a crash to desktop in wave 11. Sorry! It was fun up until then.

Heh. Dagger Hazard was so bad for my Asari adept... I was trying to finish the Stasis challenge and get some points on the Carnifex... but somehow died way too often and then got trampled right before extraction. Still a good game, but not one I'd show to anyone.

Goddess Reaper... was a lot of fun. I saw you hugging a banshee but couldn't get to you in time. I only noticed towards the end that I was alone but by then there wasn't much left. Your crash in wave 11 was unfortunate... and I felt bad for you and the poor guy who joined during extraction. ^^

You rocked the Carnifex. I was a sad panda trying to get shockwave and piranha points on my slow as molasses Shaman when everything was dying across the map. Sorry I didn't stay to make sure you were safe. By the time I realized you were down I was halfway to the LZ and only 10 seconds left. Good job handling that devices wave.

Yeah I had a bit of connection nonsense too. Very competent team though so I stuck with it. Good to play with you again & thanks for scraping me up off the floor a bunch of times.

self comboing kits are a lot more fun when your team doesnt steamroll everything

All games were great (and ended in full extraction too I think - save for Drake getting DC'd with ~ 10 seconds left to extraction ) and quite entertaining. Thanks for the good times guys, I'll have to get out there on the front lines more often!

My hours are different now too - for weekdays at least.

 

When I do get online it's often much later than before. Weekends, maybe hopefully?

Which one? I only played like 1-2 games today and none was on Condor. Sorry I cannot remember your GT since they remove n7hq link under forum avatar. Biower pls.

But yeah, Condor/Geth can be a total mess even it were lag-free .

RidiculousMammal and I went to Rio (vs Geth) together with a good quality FQI and a low level Volus. The Volus charged the spawn, died, got stomped, and rage quit. To be replaced by GoodMod1, whom I believe I have seen on here. There were some rocky moments but it looked like we were set to complete the mission when the host (RM) got DCed, and I lost connection during the migration. C'est la vie.
