Played a couple of games with RustyBuckets, el N00BST3R, and Migusz.  Been a long time since I felt like the scrubby guy in the lobby!  Guess a Collectors Platinum game isn't the right time to break out the Crusader when I haven't used it in 2 months...  Good games, guys.

Ran into JonBorrows again last night... I'm sure he posts here - he uses console text chat anyway; was on (U/U/G) Glacier/Collectors (IIRC) with a couple of other decent players. Can't remember who was playing the QFE/Arc Pistol but they were absolutely wrecking stuff.

 

I was clocking off Valiant Mastery using the QFI; it was really hard to find anything to actually shoot in that game! The fact it was Glacier didn't help. I think it ended with full extraction in about 17 minutes with me at the bottom of the scoreboard with 97k and the QFE at the top with about 113k ... good game.

 

Host left on the second game and I got stuck on the loading screen during migration, decided to Alt-F4 and go to bed.

Promoted my Cabal Vanguard and started a Silver lobby.  Game 2 Marksmad dropped into exchange vote kicks and plow through a few quick matches.  Sorry about Vancouver, I didn't have the big teleport yet and got there half a second too late

I was pugging Silver because it was my first time on Xbox for over a week. You played really well as usual. The first game on Ghost was OK, although one pug spent the whole game trying to look over my shoulder. The second one I mostly lost interest the 4th time I dived in for a grab and the target got staggered by a team mate.

 

Anyhow, pugged into Biowerpls/Binary Helix's lobby and got Ghost Collectors. There was a lot of lag once the fourth joined. My Overload sometimes wouldn't chain, my drone mostly wouldn't launch, and Incinerate wouldn't connect. I was gonna stick it out, but the TGI griefing me with A-bombs, when I couldn't do anything to get him back, eventually got far too dull and I left.

 

Much later I joined a GiP (Dagger Cerb) to find Alquinn/Heldarion killing everything with their BW. My Shadow didn't contribute much but I think I did manage to shoot a Dragoon in the foot once.

That first game had a particularly special moment on the wave 6 cleanup, and I'm still not 100% sure what happened. I managed to get myself grabbed by a possessed abomination, and as per protocol it's health started to tick down as someone started shooting it.

Rather than me dying in a firey explosion, for some reason as it died it went flying away at an odd angle, taking out the rest of you but leaving me unharmed. I assume the Fury used throw, so as a show of good faith I blew her up with another abomb then revived her under a praetorian. But it had me chuckling for a while!

Wow, your that easy to rage? And folks say I'm crazy for splitting at the first sign of spawn nukers.

Also, pugged my way into Donmarfil's lobby and we got Hazard Ghost Reapers, there was much Krogan headbutting between waves, loads of screenshake from my Spitfire Krolord, and the game was complete in just over 20 minutes. GG Don

Yeah, I remember that - I didn't see what happened, I only saw fire and "Dying" and two other teammates down.  Somebody got me when I was grabbed by a Possessed Abom that game also.  Good times!
