What timezone you guys are in? GMT -1 here. I have been pugging (gold) a lots but rarely ran into any of you.

 

Ohhh...I have played a lot with you A bit laggy for me but nothing to complain about .... GMT +1

 

Since I'm not posting frequently here (like the majority of the users ???), nobody can recognize me/ us when pugging.  And since every useful information has been posted multiple times (understandable after 3 years) I'm now an "interested" reader of all the "BS" and gossip on this board. ......Always a good laugh or head-shaking.

 

My last BSNer?  Faster than FTL........he's still missiling faster than ftl at wave 11

Dropped into Shinobu's lobby, had 2 good games. Thanks for all the soloing in the first one, and all those revives. All I can say in my defense is that Raptor SI seemed like a good idea until I tried him out. Glad things went much faster in the second game after I switched kits.

JGDD joined my lobby today and we had some very smooth runs. Many biotic booms were had in the second run.

All games were sub 20, except the last. It might have been, but our smart comrade revived you right under a praetorian...

Ran into GordianKnot for a couple of games. He hasn't posted in ages that I've seen, but he used to be around on BSN. I'm pretty sure I've run into him PuGing a few times before.

My Paladin joined on wave 3 of Ghost Cerb to find Dabal Hayat hosting as Slayer, with a Fury and a TSab. Cerb got pretty rekt. Then DH switched to the Shadow and we got Goddess Reapers, which was a variable game. Wave 3 was targets and the mooks were spawning oddly. In one case I run to the upstairs lab, which was empty, turned round to go down the stairs, took fire from behind, spun round to find a Cannibal an arm's length away, shot him, took fire from behind, turned round to be elbowed by the Marauder that had spawned right on me. Most of the rest of the game was fast and smooth, but DH had to clutch w8, and everyone but me got stomped during extraction. Thanks DH, good games, good and lag-free host too

 

As a bonus, here's DH finishing off a Brute:

Hmmm...there is always something about folks wiping on wave 8. I think most of the times when i've been waxed, it's  always been on dreaded wave 8's...doesn't matter which faction it is...

During the match he left and it was just me and that other female quarian for a few waves, then a krogan something joined us and a bit later Grunkitterhand appeared again... . 

 

I don't know what happened, but things ran alot smoother when he came back....those Phantoms and Dragoons was terrorizin' the s**t outta me.......good game Grunt!....

Yeah man, that game was crazy - I lost connection to the EA servers, but was able to return thanks to that 'other Quarian', who is quite well known around these parts.      

 

I was playing the QFI melee build recommended by QMR, with only some differences in gear.  I learned that Adrenaline certainly trumps Cyclonics, at least in the race for over-cover grabs - at least 3 of which I lost out on due to my (relatively) conservative approach.  6K melee and a dodge - that's some **** that Krogans can be genuinely envious of.  Anyway, apparently the 'other Quarian' fell victim to some Phantom BS on wave 8, and was truly appreciative of your help.  The missiles which heralded the start of wave 9 made me chuckle hard.  Anger management issues with that one.

Had a couple of games with Alfonsedode yesterday. All good games, even Condor went well - all except the Banshee grab 5 seconds before extraction

It was a very nice game: you rocked your paladin, and I can confirm the strangeness of the spawns. Almost as if all the bosses (Brutes and Banshee) spawned only in one side of the map, while Cannibals, Huks and Marauders spawned on the other side (at least, seemed so: first time I see 3 brutes coming out from a single corner, without mobs to accompany them). Very strange indeed. What Marksmad is too kind to say, it is... I was puked on to death on wave 11 and bleed out while the shuttle departed.

Just had two games with BurningLiquor. Excellent tecnique on your between-waves meleeing nice to chain some biotic combos consistently in a pug, for a change! I tried to get you with some abominations on White, but you were too wily. I had to be happy with taking the turian ghost down instead   next time maybe... I got a bit silly in the later waves on Ghost hazard, and kept dropping... thanks for reviving me!

Sorry i had to bail after only two games! Gave you the old kick-vote-salute on the way out. GG!

Looks like he likes avoiding OP Gold lobbies just like me. Something I suspected to be a reason for his constant bailing out. I see nothing wrong with him doing so. Playing Gold with weaker setups is where it's at.
