Feels like I ran into Quarian Master Race yesterday for my last game before bed? Had an honest laugh to myself while I heard the QME yell "My Soup!!" Don't know why I laughed at that one line and not the earlier "My Soup" lines, but a good honest chuckle to one self is just that.

 

Was surprised to see the Mattock being used, as even though it's the best weapon to a starting manifest (still is for my new PS3 manifest), many don't use it because it's doesn't have auto fire. I almost fell into this trap too since not using it for so long on my main account, but got used to manually tapping the Mattock once again just like my early pug days. However I was using the Revenant 1 for that match, so my kit was obviously a KroSol due to higher Krogan Combat Walk Speed.

 

At first I landed in with QMR on a Giant match, but ended up with the black screen glitch, only without the black screen. So I could see myself not being able to move and only being able to fire my weapon. Was hoping after entering spectator mode, the glitch would fix itself. Stayed for another spectator wave, but QMR bailed, my hunch that the match was laggy assured, I bailed too. Next quick search ended me up on Condor and again  I seen the same QME running around yelling about his soup. But this time my Krogan could move! But how is it that Condor works and not original Giant?   Conspiracy theory indeed (the kind that bashes the greatness of Condor  ... though I do notice PS having trouble with Giant to be honest). ... All except the silent Cerb Turrets which only added to the excitement of the Condor match. Ah Condor, always full of excitement. 

 

 

Anyway, would of stayed for one, but had to rush to make it in before the apartment laundry room closed for the night. GG (obviously, it was Condor), if that was you. If not, GG to whoever you were. QME is actually the ultimate starting manifest kit even with 3 total Arc Nades as is still the case with me, thus probably my most played kit on PS3 so far? As he can debuff, prime and detonate with both powers for both Armour and Shield tech combos (and the prime on Arc Nades last really long for at least one extra for tech burst out of one cast. Not sure it 3 is possible of one Nade cast? How long do Arc Nade priming last again?). Also, I play him with the Lancer 1, CAR 4, and Mattock 10. ... What else to add? Oh yeah, no 20 headshot medal with the Revenant, but I got the 15 tanky Krogan revive medal.   I don't remember why one pug didn't extract, as I thought everyone was safe? Oh well.

I think I get that this thread is about joining an ME3 multiplayer game and bumping into people from these forums, but what does "Pug" mean?

I don't think anyone would recognize me, I'm fairly new and don't post a great deal here.

Even though Balbock is now on my FL, he keeps joining uninvited in PUGS. What a rude guy  Anyway, many headbutts were exchanged, stomps and heavy melees between waves to upkeep teammate morale and the enemy had no chance. 

 

Really awesome KroSent play, 5 Grabs and 50 melee kills vs Collectaz on London is not an easy task. Plus I'm too scared to melee Praetorians

Lets see,

 

rlro dropped into a Condor lobby I was hosting a few days back. And before you ask, no, I haven't lost my f*cking mind. I needed 8 more Condor waves for map mastery and since no rational human being would ever preset Condor, I had to host. A few rough spots here and there but good game nonetheless. Cheers.

 

AndWeAreDoneHere dropped into a lobby my friend and I were running just in time for a mini rant about rocket troopers triple tapping their rockets.  Smooth easy game other than that. You were a fine addition to the team. Thanks.

 

Also bumped into Patersonski and JockeysBallsack. The former is definitely a BSNer, the latter I don't know but I suspect he's at least lurking around. Goofy name, alt banner, high level of play and melees in b/w waves are pretty good indicators. Good games fellas. 

 

And finally while this wasn't technically a pug, Pheabus invited BourneJason into a lobby with me and Nara for a series of 4-5 games. All sub 20 and all super easy. Always a pleasure, boys and girls.

Btw the KroSent play only worked because some great Teammates watched my back and saved me a lot. Thanks!

Also it's good to be too scared to melee Praetorians... until you can OHK them and secure the kill. ^^

^^^^^^ Screw that. Hit em in the face. Play some Krogan Golf with the space crab.  One time I knocked a Praetorian off of Rio with a Krogan Soldier Fortification Purge Heavy Melee...I felt like God. It's more about the timing.

I really like the KroSent against Collectors because he gives zero *ucks while covered in bees. And what the Nightman said. Sometimes you just have to take your chances and pimp slap a crab or two.

That's a headless Praetorian.

 

It works with Batarian Heavy Melee and Vorcha Heavy Melee. Batarian Gauntlet with Krogan Melee Charge works as well (Decapitate all the enemies).

I'm not sure about Shadow and Slayer Heavy Melee. I haven't tried those yet.

 

Edit: Cabal Heavy Melee could work too. But I haven't tried that either.

Over 3,000 Hours I have never seen anything like that..I am firing up a Solo right now to try that. Decapitating Praetorians shall become my new hobby...Click on the image and scroll over to the right.. It looks like there is a Volus Operator inside ..Do you guys see that head inside of it?

Well first of all my Krogan Soldier is more like a guerilla fighter. He sprints to the spawn, drops couple of infernos, fires Carnage, fires Claymoar and off to the next spawn. It's not built for melee and only uses it to stagger melee range enemies and then shoots them point blank with 300M 

 

Also. since Praetorians are bugged similar to how Banshees were, meaning they have magnet claws and they perform no checks on were you are (you can be 90 degrees and meeling it from the side and it'll drag you in to pick your brain sometimes) I tend to avoid them. And clustering on it while another Krogan is meleeing it, screws with his animations, so there' a high chance 1 of us will get grabbed and I don't want to risk that. 

 

On another note, had a few games with DaemionMoadrin, super fast Golds and then some Platinums with a clueless lvl 3 PUG Warlard.
