[Swan Killer]

Dropped into a lobby of somebody named something-Waffle? from what I remember that was a friend of a certain BSN'r  .They were one of the worst players I have ever come across.. and I am including his 2 buddy's that were with him....I was a claymore GI..they were whatever they were..once I got ahead in score bye 45,000 points...host decided that's enough...( sent me some hate mail )....and then decided to quit right in the middle of the wave 6 objective..ALL OF THEM  BAILED.. I would have solo'd it..but I don't like soloing any-more....they were even spawn nuking to try to keep up with me on wave 5....WAVE 5..seriously?..Loved it...then I quit

 

Yeah, I wrote about an EmoWaffle gameplay experience a few pages earlier. He's a real try-hard and a 6/6/6/6/6 glitcher. No bang.

Oh hey, I saw your BatSol lead a Reactor match vs bugs yesterday.  NoxXIV was streaming it on Twitch...he was one of the Paladins.  He was really racking up the revives on your constantly napping teammates LOL

 

Hah wow you weren't kidding, I just found that video on his twitch history and those guys were going down every 20 or 30 seconds, fun match though with the collectors all over the place.

Bypassed the lobby screen and loaded into the start of a Reactor blinky flashlights match.

 

Surrounding me were none other than Brannigan, Drake, & BaileyTFL.

 

Thanks for the smooth & creamy games, folks.  Too bad I forgot I had recently tried some CAR action with my Vorcha Hunter...thought I still had him equipped with his Raider.  Slips like that can cause the whole team to wipe.  But we made it...somehow 

Good games.  I usually make that mistake and exacerbate it by using SMG Amp 3, and Expert Package, only to find that I got a Mantis or something from some randomizer game equipped.

After failing miserably on N2.II, I decided to slum it in gold for a game or two and get my Tempest scores done. Lo and behold, I enter a random UUG lobby and we get Goddess/Collector. I don't even...

 

On the other hand, one of the teammates was prinsesbubblegum, who taught the Collectors many fascinatiing things about the Code. I would have stayed for a couple more games, but I got that weird character shifting a few paces left and right bug, so I left.

 

Turns out, it was a good idea to relax, since I got the N7 challenge done on my second attempt thereafter.

In particular, that second Jade/Reapers biotic CQC squad of Justicar/Fury/Valkyrie with you and Emexxia was just awesome! I had trouble stopping the grinning after it ended That's such a fun combination to just run all over the place, I almost felt sorry for the Reapers; then I shook the indoctrination off, and continued to BOOM them until the shuttle showed up

Yeah, usually when I have lag it manifests either in me dying (before I even see what kills me) and then getting thrown back to a position 3 or 4 feet back, or I get this strange character-shifts-left-then-right-and-again thingie. It's a small wonder I made my 20 HS. I can alleviate it by going in and out of cover, but it reappears soon, so I usually leave after one game.

I have the strangest experience between reading other people's experience with some gamers on these forums and my own. For example I have gamed with EmoWaffle a long time ago and he seemed pretty cool. Games were chill, all fun and games. Most of the games I played with him was in my lobby with people from my buddy list who are usually very skilled at this game, so I don't know if maybe that had some thing to do with the experience.

 

But then I read about the experiences others have had with these same people here and it's like they are totally different than what I know them as. LOL. I don't know, there are always factors as to why people act differently in various game lobbies. 

 

Going to click on that Twitch video...I'm curious now.

Think i found the match Nightman mentioned, but didn't notice anything resembling a 'conflict'.  The host was talking about bailing from the onset to invite some other PUG into their full match.  Can't find it now (at work), but this was around 1.5 hrs into his recent 10-hr stream.

 

Edit: Oh, and these were from two separate Twitch feeds, FYI.  7twozero was in a noxXIV session.

Honestly, all this really did was make me want more videos of myself on Twitch..I dont record.. I love seeing myself, playing the game from someone elses perspective.

That's cool. It's surprising how much you learn when recording yourself....you see all the areas you can improve one. It is interesting seeing your character from another person's view though. I have only had a few videos with other youtubers where I have been able to see that.

Did you love the part where HOLLOW was questioning why anyone would Claymoar GI?

His comments can be dangerous to viewer ocular muscles...they'll get sprained from excessive eye-rolling.

When it comes to these streams, the Twitch hosts often attempt to set a good example and be ~supportive of their 'lesser' PUG-mates.

 

As a result, you rarely even see BSNrs on the screen -- aside from the constant kill feed updates.  They're generally off BSN-ing the living f*ck outta the enemy spawns. LOL

Crud, I can't see it from work...but I know it was just before another short vid (which I think is still the most recent one in his history).  Has JBro in the title -- who joined in later.  This segment was a whole 2+ waves long, so it's easy to miss in a 10-hr saved stream.

People act differently around people they know. In pug games hardly anyone talks and instead you are left (sometimes) to the silent team play that can can either work or fail miserably.

Ahh ok. I think I know which one. I ran through it, I had just missed that part.

I don't get the hate on the Claymore GI though. That's a lack of knowledge issue AKA L2P. Claymore GI is beast.

 

The Twitch descriptions are terrible. Anyway, I don't want to derail the thread. I was just curious. Thanks guys.

I just want to take a short detour, though, and thank you for all your videos and tutorials. They helped me a lot when I was new to Platinum and I've used or was inspired by a lot of your builds. You and IAMxSHADRACH were my go-to places when I was wondering how to spec out some kit.
