since we're talking about jay i should probably mention i switched to Accuracy marksman. I'm not really sure what to think of it.

Finally played 3 laggy as hell but still very fun games yesterday with TheTechnoTurian, especially the 2 games when we both chose Fat Turians and wrecked the Collectors and Reapers.

Can't do anything about the lag. My internet's fine but I'm pacific NW united states and the connection across the Atlantic invariably sucks whether I'm host or connecting there. dunno where you are but my connection to aussies/nz is actually better than europe/mideast/russia

Accuracy is not really useful unless you're trying to do that thing where he kills those 5 dudes in one marksman cycle from across dagger. As far as headshots goes, firing rate isn't that useful either, but it's better for the inevitable sludge of bosses in late collectors/rippaz. I played some pugs with accuracy and hs rate was about the same, maybe slightly better, but it didn't matter because waves 7, 8 and 9 sucked.

 

That said, Accuracy is useful for OTHER guns. I just cbf finding out which ones.

I am in Pakistan and Pacific NW United States is the other side of the world for me whether it be from the Pacific or from the Atlantic. The only host geographically worse for me would a host from Alaska I guess.

I finally made this thread! But not how I wanted...

 

 

I recorded this just for you. I'm using the Crusader "fix" of course. You can see that I go for headshots on Marauders the most, Cannibals a lot, and pretty much not at all for Brutes, Banshees, Ravagers, and Husks. You'll see inconsistent aiming speed, accuracy, tracking, and technique. I had a few good moments, though. I (ab)use piercing, audio cues, HUD fails (e.g., telling you there's an enemy that you can't see through a wall), and the general predictability of enemy movements across the map whenever possible. If you watch carefully, you'll also see reload fails that show a full clip but give me less than that when I start firing (always "fun"), some clear hits that weren't counted, and the occasional delay of registering my damage/kills. This is exactly the same kit as I played with you two matches prior. Video is completely unedited except for encoding.

It's not uncommon for me to get the 20 headshot medal during wave 3, depending on the enemy, my weapon, how good my teammates are, and the map. In your game it was Geth vs. a juggernaut, a volus with radar mines (and CSMG?), and myself, which fell on the easy side of the spectrum. I favor high-accuracy, high-damage weapons because they fit my preferred playstyle best, and the Crusader is probably my most used weapon. I do tend to play like a wh0re (filter...), but I don't leave teammates out to dry (unless they are the special breed who deserve it).

Good stuff. I can see how he would think that you're a bot though, sometimes you pop heads through walls, when only the health indicator gives you a clue where the enemy is.

I think I ran into you once a while back. I just remember you were a batsol with mattock and it was on ghost or sth. I don't actually play more than one night a week for maybe 1-2 games at a time tho, so I don't really run into too many bsn people anyway.

Ah, so you mean without having reticule helps? Well, that's a waste of time then. Sure, you'll get a shot in once in a while, but is has few uses other than appearing as a bot. Law of large numbers, I guess

 it's mostly just wallspamming habits from other games. that and 'slicing the pie' method of corner peeking which has no point in me3 but i do it anyway

Yeah, well I got over 2000 hours in MP, but I still don't get many headshots through walls without the geth scanner, unless it's 99.9% luck.

Actually, I have already lived in England from 2007-2012 before for studies and again in 2014-2015 but I still prefer my country where most of my family and business is. Also I prefer the warm and sunny  weather of my country for most of the year over the wet and cold weather of England, except for Summer when the temperature reaches 50 degress celsius.
