At what point do you start recognizing names? I've put maybe 20 hours in now(no idea why I passed on this at launch its super fun) and I don't remember anyone. I pug on bronze, occasionally try to solo bronze mainly to test different weapon set ups.(small selection unlocked)
ShinobiKillfist by the way.
Ask us again after you have put in another couple of hundred hours.

You should have been here in it's heyday. First page threads would end up on the third page after 5-10 minutes. For MP in a ME game it was quite busy (and very entertaining) around here.At what point do you start recognizing names? The majority of people here are pugging Gold, and even then there are a lot of players who never came here, or who came here and left never to return. If you keep reading this thread you'll get to recognize a lot of names eventually. You don't say what platform you're on, it helps to know which players to look out for. Also, protip: don't make the error I did and stay on Bronze until you're comfortable. Move up as soon as you have some gear, and then move to Gold as soon as you can.

Thanks for the tip. I'm always concerned in co-op games that my skills will cause the team to fail. But it's hard to improve if you keep playing against the low end enemies.
I play on Origin.

I just survived a very laggy (for me) match on Geth/Hydra/Gold that started with 4 in the lobby, became 1 when I joined into the actual game, but apparently had invisible players. One of the inivisibles apparently dropped out, and Qui-Gon Glenn dropped in, and was the only person I could see. This is the first time I've played in months, and in the first PUG, I see a name I know... it was a nice feeling ![]()

Yes. Improvement is exactly why it's better to move up ASAP. In this game, in general, if there are two players who are competent, they can carry the game together with two players who are still learning. Quite a few people here don't mind doing that.
I'll add you and we'll see what we can do (with the caveat that I don't count as a competent player). Also, if you haven't already, check the thread pinned at the top of this forum, it may help.

Started a game with a friend, which became Collectors/Reactor. After we started, two Krentinels joined: Marksmad and WeAreDoneHere. Aside from usual overpowered posessed captains it was a smooth run. Marksmad stayed for another which turned out Rio/Cerberus. I only fell through the map once.
Good and fun games, guys. Thank you.

GG, would have stayed but work. Total senior moment on extract, thought I had one more gel.
Marksmad can no longer lay claim to the scrubbiest. Who comes in 4th and bleeds out on extraction, I do. With pride.

It seems like everyone on BSN is trying to ruin my hard-earned reputation!
Srsly, great game, especially all the between-wave headbutting and MRAHARRR ![]()

It was delightful to land in your lobby, and even more so when AndWeAreDoneHere joined ![]()
You did troll me mercilessly - every time I tried to smack an Abomb it exploded in front of me ![]()
BTW, on Rio, once the Vorcha rage quit, we were joined by the BatSent of HowlingSiren
who's also a BSNer.

Yes, my BatSent just showed up to look pretty at the end of wave 9. I was immediately useful: spawned amongst a turret, an Atlas and a Guardian. Downed before I could even say "of course".

Met Dovakiin_N7 yesterday in a lobby, but unfortunately he didn't made it into the match, which turned out to be Reactor/Hazard - Cerberus.

Played a game with HusarX today. Unfortunately he didn't extract on an otherwise quick game against Collolectors on Jade. GG.

I thought your name was familiar, but wasn't sure. Nice debut in that game, indeed.. ![]()
