I don't know if they are on the bSN, but sorry to them anyways. I clearly suck. I tried to help with objectives, used all my medi-gel if I didn't get a rez in 5 seconds or so.  stuck to a big guy so I didn't go off wondering on my own and get killed a lot.  I got killed a lot just not, because I was along.

IIRC, the Piercing stacks, but the Armor ignore does not.  It will only count one of them.

I must emphasis on how underrated and underplayed Batarian Sentinel is. I do pretty well with him. Granted I use lolCarrier on him. But still.. Same with submission net. I like it.

Still, managed a couple of good games with the Fury after that one. So was happy enough

I run a SubNet-less BatSent with Harrier (CSMG backup) myself. At level 3, the guns are still a little heavy, so I have to take Power Efficiency Modules, but it works out really nicely. Really digging the Shockwave detonations of late, detonates anything, works with any team, better with multi-primers (Like Warp Bubble, Reave, Inferno Grenade, SIngularity, etc), and can still dish out the pain otherwise (Bonus points for Incendiary Ammo). It's one of my Quick Match search characters, since it can work with any team, and (If I hit enough ammo boxes) still work on its own for carrying.

The only problem of using HVB and AP ammo together is that when you shoot through cover you lose the damage percentage listed for the HVB, while if you only used AP ammo you'd do 100% damage. Unless the weapon you're using has innate oenetration, then it works perfectly.

Everything else works normally.

Looking through these post, I didn't realise how many silver players there are. I thought gold was where it was at. I'm going to play a few matches of silver later, cos I'm nearly out of medi gel anyway.

6-7 Heinekens and only during the last match I really started noticing losing more then I could handle focus. Birthday and labour day did massive dmg to alcohol tolerance being boosted. Miss being a cheaper drunk. Time to give it up again. But that was my first time drinking and gaming. Ever. ... Yet I never extracted once after the first match with me and swankiller before you showed up. That's when things really went downhill, starting with the worst game I can recall ever doing in recent memory (my setup was completely wrong. Had Smashguard with Talon, no Armour piercing, and Cryo Ammo instead of Disrupter like planned + I never played him Platinum before + I was constantly getting synced or stomped). So much so, nat ninja'd it back to Gold. Was going to say something, but new I had to prove myself without words. But we ended up back in Platinum afterwards.

 

 

The first game with just tivesz went ok for me, outside of some pug cooking me in the reactor as I blindly rushed to save tivesz on the other side next to reactor door. Rage gel later and tivesz lives. He got stomped once on wave 9 and I was wondering what went up, then the msg came saying the lag was out of this world.

 

For the first 3 games of 4 with nat & tivesz, the Phantoms were silent. Took me till second game to notice, so for the third I took something with Terminator vision (GI). That third one was my fave game too; "Collectors Glacier." I love this faction, and giant heads made perfect for practicing Claymore GI again. Only problem was not enough penetration for flipping Praetorians, because nat said I lose dmg with HVB & AP IV together (my rebuttal was if he wasn't mistaken it for that cover bug that only doesn't affect innate piercing weapons). And I had Terminator vision, so less wall hax abilities this way too.

 

The last game I was Destroyer Claymore (it was a Claymore kind of day) on what I consider one of it not hardest maps in the game; "Jade in Goro's Lair. Prepare yourself."

It went well enough, but this is where I eventually started noticing I was losing the battle with focusing. Things started feeling delayed. To Volus Merc 4th pug I was happy to see, locked me up a few times, I heavy melee right out of it right in the middle of a deadzone for some reason, and some other strange stuff. But it was still a good match for me. And at least I could hear the Phantoms this time because I've reset the X-Box.

 

 

Anyway, ggs. Now to check for that HVB + APIV thread...

I don't think Jade is a hard map...I always start to the back left of the LZ each wave..and work my way around the map clockwise...easy-breezy...only thing really difficult is wave 10 devices and you get the dreaded Potted Plant of Doom.

Ran into Cyros_Feron the other day for a couple of games.  Cerberus was a little scrappy, especially on Wave 4 for some reason, but we obliterated the Reapers on Jade.

I think the Phantoms were alright, but I surely couldn't hear the turrets, that's how I got mowed down several times.

 

ps: the 1st game, before we joined Nat's lobby was just plain awful, things were shooting at me with their  backs turned on me, and OHK'd me.

I dunno what went on there. But the games we did with Nat (and later Jack Crapper and 69 others joined too) , we're super smooth (LAG-wise).

I was getting pretty bad lag.  If I'm on that time of night, my wife is always streaming, so it messes up with my connection (some days better than others).  I was missing headshots that were right on target, and I was getting magnet grabbed after a full 2 - 3 sec of being away from the enemy.

 

Was as funny as it was frustrating.

Hell yeah!  Funny that I don't run into too many BSNers.  Was good to play with some badasses of the realm

 

When I used to play regularly, I would play at 1 AM or after so that no one else was using the internet.  I can't really do that anymore.  Maybe that's why I didn't run into too many people heheh (yeah yeah, I know... different time zones).

I left afterwards too since I did have some major league lag in that game, especially towards the end. Not that I don't appreciate a two-shot Executioner, but the rubber band teleporting could've been tuned down a bit.

HowlingSiren and I were battling Geth on Rio when Alfonsedode joined, together with a KroGuard. Alfonse and Siren wrecked the Geth. Then Alfonse switched to the AA, the KroGuard was replaced by a KroLord, and we got Ghost Hazard Reapers. Alfonse and Siren wrecked the Reapers. Nice seeing you after so long, Alfonse
