Oh, the sacrilege of playing the gobstopper/jawbreaker subpar. A nemesis dropped him with the sniping laser alone (without even squeezing her trigger).

XAN and Mexx, were polite enuf to use "memleak" as main reason to drop out of Vancouver post lobby, so as not to hurt the adept's feelings... I didn't even want to overburden Ark.

But I'll persist with Golf ball. Do him justice and stand tall.

In the U/C/G match that became Hydra, I registered a Stasis kill ... pretty sure that's my first one ever

I think I ran into a wild kyzui early this morning for some smooth Gold matches. My first match in Gold this morning I was dropped into a GIP on my favorite map; Hazard Ghost/Collectors. testy actually picked that map. WHHHY? Then, he dropped out after wave 4. I'm going to assume he froze. The other option is ...TROLL.   Random pugs tried like hell, and I even clutched wave 7 meself, but the force being thrown at us was just too overwhelming.

Yep I really enjoyed those duos. It's always fun to clear a match with a friend in the same time it usually takes to clear it with a full squad (especially for a non coordinated match that isn't a speed run attempt.)

Those BSNers that happen to bump into my lobby when i invited them there.

 

Firerider and physiolosopher, it was smooth, as it should be.

 

The highlight was 4 krogans.

Fire and phys as vanguards, the pug and me as shamen.

I used a claymore, cos when you powers are on cooldown, you slam your face into the enemy. Like a real krogan!

The others used some watersquirters, your clan will get a notice.

The best part was the pug joined in all the headbutting between waves, of wich there where plenty.

My Quarksman ran into Fuenf789's TGI on Benning and we along with some puggernaut and saboturian shot some Reapers in the face.

Fairly fun game. Was quite laggy on my end, I got rekt by swarmers due to tunnel vision and I got WFOP'd at the end, but enjoyable nonetheless. Nice job with that CAR.

A lot of people can blow crap up good with a vanilla adept, but there is more to playing a kit than that IMO.  Too still handle objectives well, stay on your feet while being in the front, help teammates out etc takes a lot.  Anyone can throw a combo, but staying alive takes some skill.  The popularity of the durable kits like the Geth jugs is telling IMO.  Also take this from the perspective of someone who is just starting to transition to gold.  Maybe at the consistent gold/platinum level solid adept play is more common.

 

Edit to add, I also exclusively pug so yeah any kit played well is nice to see, and seeing the vanilla adept at all is rare one played well is very rare.

Haha yeah, random PUGs could easily give the character a bad showing, but any veteran should be able to use the kit competently as you described. Congrats on the move to Gold, the game gets a lot more interesting beyond Silver
