I modeled my Sith Inquisitor after Palpatine and sometimes roleplay him like that, too. Hilarious. Especially since I'm not on a roleplay server.
It might have been a bit ambitious to play all 8 classes at once but I always have something interesting to do now.
I find Palpatine's smile endearing.

Is SWTOR single player actually any good?
If you enjoyed KotOR 1+2... then I'm sure you'll find something fun in the class stories. Jedi Knight and Smuggler are the most fun on Rep side (Consular is kinda boring, but that might be because I play him 100% light), Bounty Hunter and Agent are the most fun on Imp side. The other classes have their moments, too. Sith Inquisitor gets to be sarcastic and snarky all the time, even to Grand Moffs and Darths. So far only my Trooper managed to get laid (Sergeant Jaxo is hot!), despite me flirting with everyone I can. Well, except for my Sith Inq, who just hates everyone. 
There are tons of references, there's a lot to do... in fact, it's kinda overwhelming at first.
It's obviously not quite as good as a single player game but it's entertaining enough.
I recommend to subscribe for a month though... f2p gameplay is nearly crippled and just gets in the way.

I'll second that the class stories are worth playing through, but the PvP in that game really went to crap. It doesn't help that it's a "Massive Multiplayer Online Game" which stutters serverside when 12 or more people are in the same location.

I was a PC gamer for a few years. I will never miss all of the BS that came with it. Console gamer 4 life. Buy a console and for the next 10 years so buy the game and throw it in and play. No bs.
Also on the next gen consoles I haven't really had very many crashes or anything at all. I'm sure that because I haven't played a new Ubisoft or Bethesda game on it yet althought DA: I ran like **** too and Bioware is getting worse quality wise.

I have this feeling like I should know who the person I ran into is, but I'm pretty sure that I don't. I definitely witnessed some of the strangest behaviour that I've ever seen in a lobby. If I had to guess at what the person was doing, I'd say they were switching the difficulty around and putting kick votes on people to specifically avoid playing with anyone who has N7 Rank, CP or loadout that he thought might outscore him.
In any case, he kept the absurd dance going for so long that the game never happened.

The both run fine on Windows 10 for me, BTW. The only issue is that KoTOR is old enough not to do widescreen natively, but there's a fix for that.

^^ actually, I ran into cvs paladin..perverted paladin..whatever his PSN ID is last night...he actually ready'd up without sending me some noob msgs...I left but not b4 I dropped some "you are not ready for silver" msgs to him. I am sure he / she/ it lurks here.
Ran into Loufi while hosting a game and trying out a Claymore vanilla human soldier. His Claymore AIU joined up and together we kicked Cerberus in the nuts, with the help of two rather inept pugs.
Next game was against Collectors on Dagger and we actually did pretty well... no hard resets or anything like that, but I did get WFOP screen after the game, so I decided to call it quits for the night. But his Indra DAI and my Widow huntress sure showed those bugs what they are made off
