[Bud Halen]

Last game of the night, joined a lobby with 2 Jugs, I readied, waited a couple minutes then left. Quick search dropped me in to the same lobby with the addition of a readied Bud Halen.  Stuck around and got Rio/Geth, left nothing but scrap metal.  The 2 Jugs played surprisingly well.  Nice, easy game.  Thanks Bud.

 

Nice work.  My Huntressing sucks vs Geth, but yours was kickingAss.  Made me wish I had switched from QFE to biotic before we deployed.

 

Speaking of biotics, got to enjoy some pwnership of Rippaz on Dagger with Light Robot.  Host was an AV, LR was an HSent, and I was an AJ.  Poor Vorcha had nothing left to flame.

Yeah that was a fun game. Haha you know, that Vorcha got me in a state of bafflement at some point. Somehow he managed to rip me of 3 consecutive boss kills with his Avenger vs my Arc Pistol. For a second there I considered the idea that he might be the chosen one, then he got back to trying to flame things and failing, poor guy indeed. Had a previous game with same kits on Glacier Hazard before  and it was a real mess, so that game was a nice change of pace.

 

Sorry to have "kicked you out" of the game but as I said we were just finished with our warm up and were ready to go after the themed challenge, wasn't sure if you got that when you answered 10-4 but I looked it up. We should play again some time.

You have to agree though, that there are some mild similiarities here:


Perry white - chief editor on the right. Maybe they're all falling into the category of uncool western authority figures(with some cool salient behaviour). Remember Colonel Miles Quaritch who sipped a cup of coffee while wiping the planet of its inhabitants in avatar. Could literally gaf.
Ps. Please get a mike, I somehow recall that junior said this was his tag originally and I don't want to mix you two up in my mind.

General Knoxx is cooler, and way funnier than those other two, although I did like Colonel Quaritch. Especially his "everything that walks, crawls or squats in the mud wants to eat your eyes for ju-ju beads!"  speech.

Nice.  My little guy & I are making our way through a second play-through as Brick & Lilith respectively.

We just got the Knoxx & Zombie Island DLCs installed and didn't go through either on our first go 'round.

 

Quick off-topic question if you don't mind...

What level would you prefer to be at before heading to the secret armory?  Maybe 50 or higher?  We're currently at level 43.

Awesome. They're my two favourite DLC's. Zombie Island is a lot of fun. Some of those Echo recordings (in both) are hilarious.

 

Depends, it's been a while, but usually the higher level you are the better the guns you get in the Armory, but if you're just playing for fun any time is okay. Hope you both have as much fun as I did. 

Edit. Lillith was my favourite character. Dat phasewalk!

Ran into VanishedOne on Plat/London.

Dropped in on Vormav and the game went pretty smooth.  Stuck around for another one and the host set it to London.  It ended up being Reapers.  x3 Drone Escorts, of course Vormav and I were the only ones who cared to escort the Drones each time.  On Wave 10, the host went down right away, and didn't gel.  Vormav got grabbed by a Banshee, as I was occupied taking out Ravagers during our trip across the center of the map.  Pug 4 was a Drell Infiltrator, so I now had all the aggro from all of the things.  Every Ravager turned their attention to me, and I went down almost instantly.  Banshees were waiting to grab me as I gelled.

 

The Drell Infiltrator was now the only one left alive.  Vormav and I had gotten the Drone to within 20 feet of the goal, so the Drell got cocky and spent the next 3 minutes scorewhoring.  He went from 4th place all the way up to 2nd, but used up all of his missiles in the process.  With 17 seconds to go, he finally got into the Escort Circle, but so did every Brute and Banshee.  My  texted "LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL" was nicely visible against the dark red background of failure.

 

Back in the lobby, Vormav left without hesitation.  I stuck around long enough to help the host votekick the Drell, then I left as soon as he was kicked.

 

He never even made it to the top of the scoreboard.  What a sucky scorewhore.

I am pretty sure the host went AFK during that last escort, because he didn't move at all just long enough to die and get ended. I got grabbed trying to save him.

 

I'm a little disappointed you didn't commit suicide with a premonition of what was about to happen. Because I've never laughed so hard at failure in this game before. That Drell was amazing. I think they honestly tried to take it home at the end there, but just didn't realise that the drone wouldn't budge while he was cloaked. And, of course, the only time they were in there was when they were cloaked. If it wasn't for the rockets into mobs they had successfully kited away from the escort, followed by distant futile sniping, I'd have said something....

I kind of panicked when the Dragoons came up, it didn't occur to me until afterwards I might be jacking up your shots by heavy melee'ing- I hope I didn't mess with your rhythm too much.

 

Always nice to see you pop in, even if only for partial games :3

Nah, there wasn't any screen shake. Or at least it was on such low level that I didn't notice it.

Not sure of they are in here but I played my first game is many months and dropped into an ongoing platinum game with slick350. It was a good duo and the rust was real.

My machine decided to crap itself at Condor extract ;.; Sorry about that.

 

I suppose as things go that's probably the most opportune time for Condor bugs to happen.
