Hopped into a quick GiP with 09_Trooper last night with my Huntress.  Trooper must have specced his TGI for melee.  That Turian came flying in from off the turnbuckle quite a bit 

 

Only problem was we were facing Rippaz.  Would have been fun to see a melee TGI  pound the crap out of a more melee-friendly faction like Cerbs.

GG.  If it seemed like I was avoiding you I was only trying to stay out of your way so I didn't mess up your combos.

Things didn't go so well. Got into a heated argument with brother which forced my hand to bail just after wave 6 hack because he wouldn't shut up.

Holy ****. I finally witnessed TechnoTurians witchcraft. She also got 15 revives medals.

First, I bumped into FairfaxGal and the game was Vancouver cerberus. The host quit of DC'ed on wave one and host migrated to FairfaxGal. She quit or DC'ed around wave 4, iirc. We then proceeded with a new host from Slovenia with ping 250 msec. It actually was an OK game with full extraction. I kept my gear. With the same gear I switched GPR for lancer and went looking for another game. Landed in Sinful's lobby who bailed at wave 6. Game migrated to somebody else and we finished quite fast in about 17 minutes. I got 2 75 kill medals, probably first time in a pug. I'd say, good timing, Sinful, right in the middle. Also, I kept the same gear from the first game but switched lancer to phaeston.

 

Third game was on Vancouver again and it were collectors. Qi_Gon_Glenn dropped in at wave 2 with his krogan soldier. He stayed for a few waves and then complained about the lag and quit. Indeed, his inferno grenades worked but carnage constantly missed. And he went down quite heavily a few times. The host apparently crashed and migrated to a fury who was actually pretty good, maybe from around BSN also, not sure, I forgot the nick. We finished the game as a duo for full extraction in about 20 minutes. Well, guess what? I kept the gear. Final game of this eventful night was on Australian host. I decided to stay because GI does not care and I had the same gear. It did not go very well in the beginning but then Terryfonz dropped in with his quarian inflitrator and brought some arc grenades. He also was very generous to revive me probably a dozen times and we duoed a few waves when two other pugs died. It went OK up until extraction when Terry was taken down running to EZ on reactor by a phantom and either got gutted or stomped instantly and I could do nothing to stop that. I am so sorry about that, it made me really sad. And finally, the gear was gone. I'd say not bad, 4 games on the same setup with different weapons, all with BSNers and all very adventurous.

 

Secret magic recipe involves GI, drill ammo, stabilization mode III, AR amp III and AR damage gear. Build, probably, is not that important but you never know.

Just got in 1 1/2 runs with Dalakaar and his Kroguard.  Popped into his Geth lobby on Glacier with my BatSlasher.

 

Back in the lobby I loaded my Geth-swatting AcLOLyte HSent -- to see how fast we could rip through them.  Ended up on Condor though which kinda ruined the 'fast run' idea.  But it simply meant my HSent could luxuriate as the flying Krogan drew AALLLLL the aggroz.

Oh no worries.  I don't normally stack cloaked DCs to get multiple BEs.  I actually would have been stoked to trigger a TB during my Warp-shoot cycles.

I was trying to keep the primes off you and the two pugs by repeatedly attempting to put my face through their chestplates. For some reason it seemed to work.

 

How was it on my host btw? I always assume it's terrible but I rarely get the ability to ask someone outright.

Host was A-OK.  Had a nice connection to you.

I was definitely trying to keep things primed for your preferred BE pleasures.  Figured it would be best for your Kro charging to affect as many flashlights as possible...whenever you needed it.  Plus you could light up the kill feed with my BEs (  tee-hee).

Yeah, while it appears the Krogan is doing your kill feed work, I think it's wise for their powers to ignite CC as frequently as possible.  Plus something like Warp is a nice de-buff for their melee.  And Dalakaar's flying Krogan was doing a CRAP-TON of melee.  I basically withheld my Throws when targeting his CQC foes.  Just Warp and some AcLOLyte balls to strip shields.

Depends how they're playing it. I don't use the best nor fastest method when I'm Kroguarding against Geth. I play it melee heavy for the lulz. I use a Talon with Disruptor for 200% cd which keeps me aliveinvincible via frequent Biotic Charges. I've tried a shotgun with blade but that slows my CD down long enough that I can't take gold prime duos like I can with 200%. Once I'm in range I don't bother with the gun all that much in favour of meleeing everything. I use the gun to fire off quick disruptor stuns that lock the enemy in place making tracking better for Biotic Charge. (Particularly bombers. Damn flying pyjaks won't always be chargeable unless they're still.)

 

It actually is very relaxing to not have to worry about things like RHA, or dying... just putting your head through things and trying to time your heavy melees with deaths so you send em flying over the terrain... or a cliff. I swear one geth hunter had an awfully surprised look on his face as his body went sailing out over Condor that match with Halen. You might not be able to track them with heavy melee when they're cloaked but you can still biotic charge them if your reticle is directly over them.

 

I'll usually kill a mook or few to get rage going, but when I see a Prime I'll ignore everything else. I love going toe to toe with a prime duo.

 

For support? Basically debuff whatever I'm currently putting my head through and if you see me quickly dodge away to kill a single mook I'm probably trying to feed the rage so dun kill it. I'll try and return the favour by facetanking the prime duo. (literally)

Good to hear! Sooo many BE's too. The vorcha caught on and was flaming a lot of things too. Between rage, BE's, and flamer I was pretty much in blind-krogan-melee-heaven. (It's a nice place.) Felt a little bad for the pugs. They got squeezed a few times but I'll try to revive em when I'm being a selfish Krogan.

And as a result:  neither of us went down.  Sturdy Krogan face-tanking = sturdy ranged artillery units.

 

And I should also emphasize...I pooped out AcLOLyte balls everywhere I saw Prime turrets, blue shields and/or cloaked Hunters.  Ain't no hard-workin' Krogan got time fo' sneaky little turret health thieves.  They gotta get gone.

 

Also AcLOLyte balls + cloaked Hunter = Krogan melee golfing.
