hm, was hoping you found a faster way besides spamming recruits. However, excellent film because I loved that bug you got. Plus, I just love seeing all those big 'promotion' numbers. 300+ promotes on infiltrator. Yeah my infiltrator class also has the most promotes (even tho mine is only bout 20 or something, not 300!!!).

Making a vid is good since a lot of folks dont come to BSN but they still will hit youtube and find it there

Haha the promotion bug and the disconnection, epic fails. 

Yeah the video will probably be more useful for others that are outside of BSN, Though their are a few here that learnt a few things.

N7 Mastery is the only challenge I haven't completed yet, b/c I never cared about promoting, but I was a little low on consumables AND I was hoping this would be a less painful way to get the botb banner. Five promotions and a few hundred thousand credits after, I'm now positive I don't care enough about that banner to do this, so thanks for making me realize that

I spam recruit pack to get more Medi-gels. But what happens when lvl 1 consumables all maxed out? All you get are blue character cards? (if ignore the small chance of uncommon card)

Nope. It still gives you level one consumables I'm afraid, and still keeps it at 255.

Reserves pack are way more efficient imho

My strategy has been to save up about 2 million and buy reserve packs.

It's a bit hit and miss - you can have some at lvl 14 and others still at 1 for example, but also add to my UR's. so far anyway. Luck probably about due to run out.

Just don't forget that 2 million on recruit packs = everything level 20

Ok... I will answer this question myself...

To get to lvl13 you need 625.000


To get to lvl20 you need  2.500.000

That is you need 1.875.000 more exp... Let us say that a U/U/P gives you at least 600.000 xp, this will be 3 platinum games + 1 whatever bronze/silver/gold to get the rest of the xp

and this times 6 for every class... 12 U/U/P + 6 bronze/silver/gold to get 6 promotions... and we need to get 60 promotions...

This is still one heck of a grind...

It used to be much easier before Reserve and Arsenal packs were introduced as you could open Recruit packs very quickly. Quite a pain to do it now as the packs can take some time to load. Glad I got the N7 Mastery done a long time ago.

20.000.000/150.000=133.33 platinum games... well, it seems there is no easy way out... this will take forever...

400 recruit packs. Ugh.

And how many hours in the store?  I tried this but just found even more boring than running around with a level 1 with a claymore all the time. It's actually kinda funny that they put in the N7 challenge and the level 4 ammo kinda counteracted each other. It would be easy to level with the old charachter spam store. Oh, the  irony.   Gold charachter cards give, what, like 256 or 325K or something? I forget. it was a alot however.

Actually, over half a year ago, this is the tactic I told him before his level jumped lots. We used to talk lots.

Edit - Either way, this is a guide for people that don't know how to level up fast and efficiently.

I do not even play 2 hours daily on a regular basis... And the 12 mins mean platinum speedruns and of these I get bored already after one hour... Anyways the guide is helpful, because the last time I promoted was several months ago...

As long as you think like this then of course it will feel long and like a grind  you have to enjoy playing games with pugs or friends whilst promoting. I for one enjoy constantly leveling back up after promoting, so that's probably why I don't find it such a grind as others do and why I've completed N7 Mastery 10+ times :happy:

This s**t works really well. I use it to get my characters back to level 17 and by the time they are 20 I have enough money saved to do it again.

I know a lot of people find it agrovating to promote for several reasons (one of which is playing as a low level again), but this elimates the majority of the problems :happy:

Pros

• Level up very fast and efficiently
• Replenish consumables quickly (Missiles, Ops packs, Thermal clip packs, Medigels
• Obtain a nearly infinite amount of level 1 equipment
• Never get to play as a low level ever again!

Tips

• Around 500,000 credits on average is needed for all classes to reach level 13
• Around 2,000,000 credits on average is needed for all classes to reach level 20 (6 promotions)
• Around 20,000,000 credits is needed to achieve 60 promotions & N7 Mastery

Gaea!  I wish I had seen this earlier.  However, I am nearly done with N7.  I believe I will finish it tonight. 

Is there one of those for the Alien or Weapons challenges?
