And that is your opinion. It is neither wrong or right. Others will have differing opinions. Theirs is neither wrong or right either.BlameTheTank wrote...
As far as I`m concerned he takes the poop they talk about and exposes the bs it means, showing how most things contradict things we were told. I`m betting my non space hamster that people saying he doesn`t know what he is talking about never watched this (or didn`t pay attention) or already forgot. But no one will ever convince me that the endings we got make make any sense. None, nada, zero.

Do you have any points you'd like to make, or are you here just to praise smudboy?
Not trying to be offensive, but this is a place for discussion--and you're not giving us any.

This. Also, some of his points are just wrong. But yea, he's funny.

I was just amazed how people "forgot" about the endings after the EC and Citadel and were all " We love you now" again... Like many, I have hoped the last dlc will change something, hence my frustration probably...

I've always felt that the original endings were the best. They were good.
But I don't understand--did you make this topic to discuss that (the original endings) or did you make it just to say "they sucked" or to merely point to smudboy?

I'd like to thank Bioware for the EC's, and the Citadel DLC,
and the whole ME series!!! I did before, but it won't hurt.
Endings? time to get over it.

Then like many, you simply haven't been listening for 9 months now. They were upfront with you that the endings were what they were.
I never stopped loving BioWare. Other than 15 minutes at the end of ME3, I've greatly enjoyed all of their products and was satisfied enough with the EC that I focused on things other than the ending. If you believe BW is forever tainted for the end of ME3 then that is your choice to make. Meanwhile I'll be loving Citadel and eventually Dragon Age 3.

I guess you didn't get the memo about BioWare being done the endings. If you had known this, you wouldn't be as frustrated as you are now.BlameTheTank wrote...

nope .. crap does not get better over time .. it merely dries out.
i brought mass effect 3, because it was the last game of the series and the (supposed) conclusion of shepards story. i have learned my lesson. the drift away from scifi to fantasy is obvious and the game (especially the ec) has problems. ooc-autodialogue, my avatar suddenly has feelings of her own. illogical things happening (like the normandy evac scene).
i can live with a lot of things but it is obvious, that the writing team sacrificed the lore and continuity to provoke cheap emotions and present cheesy scenes.
if the team follows this road, i am no longer the target audience.

nope .. but letting it disappear and saying "well it smelled not that bad" does not actually make it smell better.
crap is crap ... it does not matter if it disappears.
the difference between mass effect and crap is, that crap does disappear over time - the ending will not.

Sums up most fandoms in general. Can't just leave like a normal person would, they got to be showboaty and make a huge spectacle about how angry the are, and how much shame everything has first.
EDIT: Forgot the last part.
And than most of them break their vows a day later and are back to ****ing, moaning, crying, whining, and complaining incessantly, despite the fact they said they would leave the fandom and never come back again. They'll buy the dlc's or watch it, despite being so done with BW, and make thread after thread condeming it as if it were a human rights violation. And they'll do it again, and again, forever and ever, becasue it's the same complex people who hate radio shows and tune into them have, or people who watch shows they despise.
They want to know what will happen next, so they have up to data information on what to hate.

Listen to yourself. If you really hated it you could walk away from this website, throw away every Bioware game you wanted to.
You're doing exactly what he said.

And it seems people let themselves be cheated by the EC and Citadel to the point that they stopped questioning the endings, stopped caring, whatever. Some seems to believe BW redeemed themselves with the EC and Citadel when all it was was playing on cheap emotions in hope to cover the poop the ending of the great series is.
Someone said he is gonna buy DA3, well, I might buy it, AFTER I read reveiws of it to make sure that at the end of it, in the battle between mages and paladins, suddenly, in the last 10 minutes won`t appear a strange luminescent unicorn who will tell me that to stop the conflict I need to become a frog....

I was cheated by a free piece of DLC?

As if post-ending DLC wouldn't be a cheap play on emotions.

You do realize of course that David Gaider is not responsible for ME3's ending? Perhaps not? Or do you now have a fear that every game will end like this, for example Bioshock Infinite?

The closure it added and the fact that it made the endings clearly different with the epilogues. And for the refuse option as well, since that was requested by fans, even the part about losing by picking it.

why should i throw away my old games? i really like dragon age, mass effect, baldurs gate, knights of the old republic and neverwinder nights. hell those are games i actually finished and replayed.
you brought up the word hate. i dont hate the endings. i cant just overlook the lore inconsistancies and other problems that are scatterd throughout the game. i in fact, love mass effect - thats the only reason i am still posting here. if i would hate the game, i would play something different right now - and not mass effect 3.
it is solid, constructive criticism to point out where the narrative and game have problems and where they contradict established lore. this is quality control. it is possible that the devs oversaw those problem,s because they are "too close to the screen".
