I don't think the normandy landed in that scene. More like the intro where it stayed hovering in place.

Also, why all the sarcasm for what were legitimate points I raised in questioning how a shockwave from the normandy would kill every member of the groundteam?

Because the question doesn`t change anything... The whole scene makes no sense. So... all the military guys of maaaany species came out with this plan - we run down the hill straight at the 2km high reaper, no matter what. No tactics, no flanking, no going from other direction, no smokescreen, nothing. We all go without turning back... yet Shepard calls for evac (ignoring higher rank order)  for 1 ONE wounded squadmate risking life of all the crew while the order was "ALL IN", then the Normandy comes in 5 sec, while the reaper stops shooting for that time, letting them pacefully fly away, even thought he had Normandy right there, easy kill. Then we run to the beam again, the beam that no1 ever saw before, no1 knows what it does, if it is even safe for humans to go through. Then Coats calls for retreat even though the reaper is leaving...sooooo it`s safe to run now, but nope, retreat...

First off I am so glad that I now read post in the bioware threads now. I have already clicked on links to smudboy before. I am just glad that I will no longer be giving him any views from me. He literally wins the prize for dead horse beater. Shepard's story is over move on. Heck at this point I wouldn't be surprised if Bioware pulls a DC New 52 on future Mass Effect games.

Second (about the post I am quoting): Funny I like how he believes that his opinion actually matters when it comes to works of FICTION. Unless the game is based on reality, which it is clearly not at least not at this point, then anything can fly.

Anything can fly provided:

1. It could fly before too
2. You explain why it can fly if in normal life it cannot fly

My Fiction, my work, and not yours: I can say pigs fly. So they can fly. I don't have to explain anything to you and neither does Bioware in this case by any means. I am just glad they did anything at all when they didn't need to or had to.

I got through a good seven minutes of the fourth video. It was a combination of points that have been made many times before and personal opinions expressed in an exceedingly annoying way.

Agreed, but if in your first ficiton you said they can fly but not land on water then suddenly they should not be able to do it + swim faster than sharks.

I had to edit my last post you quoted, but I will say it again anyway. I don't have explain anything to you if it is my work. You can accept or not, like it or not, and or read or not. I am not holding a gun to your head and neither is Bioware and the fans shouldn't be doing so either. As already said I am just glad they went out their way to do anything at all when they didn't have to.

I was just stating a point mainly being that Bioware didn't have to do anything when they went waaaay out of their way to do so.
