Every time I get this map when pugging I  


On platinum half the time people sit in their box, and on Gold people either sit in the crossfire in the middle or are spread out all over the effing place. One goes down, you have to run accross the what I call 'turkey shoot' to try and pick em up. If you are a squishy char that's almost a guaranteed death sentence.

BY FAR my most hated map. 
I just pugged into a gold game reapers, as a valkyrie without a cyclonic. I did fine points wise and the ohters were competent players, but still RAHHHH I HATE IT, and those ravagers are just..... OMGDIEDIEDIEANNOYINGSONOFA.....

I don't hate it nearly as much as Glacier Hazard, but yes, it can be quite detestable unless you're a sniper.

That depends entirely on the team. I do not like camping it (except for the occational sniper in in the control room), and startinly not the box of shame, but with a squad that plays the map effectively, i find it quite enjoyable.

Too big of a map. A nightmare with any objectives if you are hoping for max creds.

It's a terrible map to play with randoms, yes.

But Dagger Hazard and Condor are still much more hateable. At least Rio has the decency to have awesome ammo boxes.

I used to hate it till one day when I ended up on Rio, I figured out how to play it, for just one moment, I knew how to play Rio. Then forgot.

Now I hate Rio again. ALso not fond of Sanctum.

I hate only when recovery objectives come up. It's the worst map for that.

I wouldn't say hate... strongly dislike is better. Every time I get it in a match, no matter what faction it is I wind up sucking pretty bad... Rio is a jinx for me.

That's Firebase London. Rio is only worse for pizza deliveries.

I don't find it too bad, actually.

The whole box thing is a deadly game of hide'n'seek when brutes and banshees start getting in there. Makes things like the QMI scan, Hunter Mode, and the Recon mine really useful. Other than that, it's a good map if you have long range weaponry, with certain areas where short range becomes better. My only peeve is that there's not really enough cover in some areas, and you're almost always open from the side for a rocket trooper on the bridge opposite.

Now Condor I never got the hang of. WAY too open. I always stick to my little pipeline on the far end.

It's right up there with Hazard Dagger IMO... I'd much rather play Condor... yeah, I said that.

THIS, is the ONLY time I have anything remotely resembling fun on that map, hanging out near the pylons and boxes with wall hacks is actually enjoyable, until some dweeb gets killed on the other side of the bridge.
